This is great hotel with wonderful facilities and fantastic staff. We really enjoyed our stay the suite was beautiful and really comfortable. The pool was great and my family enjoyed the spa. Service was spot on. The reason I gave four stars and not five is two fold. 1. we asked thew hotel to book us a taxi and they wanted to charge $US 120! We ended up getting an Uber that cost KSh 1,800 (equivalent to $US 14) 2. On some mornings they did not set up the breakfast buffet as the hotel was quiet, which I can understand but on those occasions the breakfast quality was poor.

We only went to the spa and booked in advance. Many of the treatments were not available per their PDF summary and also on site. The massages were good, my sisters a bit to firm, despite asking to be softer, but the odd bit was we had the coffee scrub which was great, but we had to walk through reception in our coffee scrub state, with our messy towels to get to the changing room/shower area. We seemed at odds as to which way round the process would work ie scrub, shower, steam and then massage, or massage then steam. All seemed a bit clunky, but good at what they did. We had to pay. if we wanted to stay longer and use the pool, that was empty and a bit soulless so did not bother.

We are a family of five (2 adults and 3 teenagers), and we were fortunate to end our two weeks of Kenyan travel at Hermosa. It was such an elegant place. Friendly staff. Delicious breakfast easy morning. Sunday brunch was extravagant. The spa and gym was great. We got massages which were greatly needed after many days of hiking. I highly recommend Hermosa.

Had an amazing stay at the Hermosa garden & Spa hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpfull and the service is great. If you are looking for a great place to stay in Kenya I would definetly recommend this hotel.

It is a very quiet, safe place with a very well-kept house and a lovingly tended garden. The staff is very friendly and helpful, even with questions which go beyond the hotel services. We wish the entire team all the best and much success for the future. We'd love to come back.

Wedding anniversary stay. Check in was smooth except the porter who overdid the room orientation. Despite informing reservations in advance that this was an anniversary celebration, the room was disappointingly only prepared for single occupancy instead of couple and basic toiletries were missing. I had also pre-discussed some anniversary specials at reservation but none of these were availed at the room. We had to follpw up for a fruit basket and drinking water to be brought as agreed and decided not to pursue the rest. Dinner was good and room service was fairly prompt and professional. The bed was comfortable and the hotel location was very quiet and conducive for a restful night. There is a general lack of attention to detail and the hotel does not go beyond the basics of service provision. Breakfast bland with limited choices. Check out was smooth.

An absolutely beautiful hotel. The room was huge, very clean, well equipped, quiet. The food was wonderful. The staff couldn't do enough for us; very friendly attentive and helpful. The spa and gym were great to have as well as the pool. We stayed here before we started our safari. I would highly recommend this hotel.
