Sunset at the Palms Resort - Adults Only - All Inclusive

This was by far the loveliest resort I’ve been to out of 7 Caribbean islands. The villas and porches are beautiful, clean and modern. The grounds and wild life are a paradise. The staff in every position is professional , friendly and warm. The food is great every day. Traditional Jamaican food with some twists- the chefs night dinner is a high light; the lotus Leaf delicious- and portions just right to enjoy every course; drinks are awesome; the buffet a treat every night. The beach is a dream as is the pool. Best vacation ever!!

This is not a reflection on the hotel or the staff. Both are great. However, safety is a bit of a concern. Someone tried to break into our room while we were inside and someone stole my wife’s airpods on the beach. While the hotel is gated, it is easy to scale the wall and since these are huts, entering them at night is easier than in a large building hotel. Having said that, Is till like the place for staff and peacefulness.

The bungalows were well kept and very unique. I love the fact that it wasn’t an average resort with hotel style rooms. The property was beautiful and immaculate. The food could have been more authentic but was still good and the chefs selection was chef’s kiss. And every thing was so accessible. The 5 head shower was Amazing. Will definitely be back

It would have been nice if the dining options were better. The restaurants were not open to all and open every other evening. I strongly recommend you bring bug spray. The staff suggested my bug bites were from “sandflies”. It has been home a week and I am still itching with lumps on my arms, legs, neck and back. The resort is 2 hours from the nearest airport. It was nice but I won’t ever go back.

This was our first Jamaican holiday and first time at SATP. The staff is amazing. Friendly, they remember guests names and go out of their way to make guests feel at home.

My husband and I just spent 4 days at SATP. There was some things that were phenomenal, and others that could be better. Breaking it down below: Food: the food was incredible! I was skeptical because there didn’t appear to be a lot of options to pick from as far as restaurants etc but we loved everything. Overall vibe: this place was SUPER quiet and chill. Not much going on, very different from past all inclusives I have stayed at. So if you are looking for something that’s got a lot of activity and life, this is not your resort. They have updated a lot of common spaces recently which look great, but the rooms and gym need some love. Tree houses: while the idea of the treehouses is cool, they are a bit tired. They definitely could use some updating. Also, there is zero sound barrier. It was nice to hear nature to fall asleep, but you can hear everything in general. Service: I would say our service opinion is mixed. We had some really great service, but then in some other instances, we had to ask multiple times for things before they were taken care of. The beach: the beach itself is beautiful and the walk across the street really isn’t a big deal. There was lots of space to spread out, and plenty of chairs. The alcohol at the beach bar is horrible, the service was so-so at that bar, and then the private section of beach for sunset at the Palms is right next to a public bar and vendor market That had music playing all of the time.

This is a great place for chilling. Very laid back. Staff does a great job of making you feel relaxed. Beach is across the street and we thought it would be an issue. We were so wrong. Big beach. No one bothers you. Right in the middle of Bloody Bay. Fantastic

The resort and staff are amazing! My partner and I stayed here for our honeymoon and had such a quiet, peaceful stay, The food is delicious, and the breakfast and dinner buffet options have good variety. The staff are very attentive and friendly, and the rooms are clean. The resort sprays for mosquitos around 5/5:30pm, so I'd recommend staying indoors for 30 minutes while they spray.

Great location but they need to keep whatever is available for dinner at 6:30 at least there till 7:30 especially since they say dinner goes to 10 pm Two different nights especially. One night they had beef tender loin at 6:30 but by 7:30 all gone but they forgot to take the sign down. People that did get it said was really good, Another night was supposed to be seafood but at 7:45 pm when we arrived, most of any sign of seafood you know like at least a shrimp was gone but at least they took signs down this time. Great facility but they need to step it up on the food issues or just tell people to be there at 6:30 pm if you want all the options.
