Borgese Camere e Suites

It was our second stay in Borgese Camere & Suites and it will not be our last one! Excellent location in a more quiet corner of the center and next to Umano, the best restaurant in Neive. Borgese also has a nice terrace to have a drink in the afternoon. No private parking but we always found parking space very close to the hotel. The room and the terrace are excellent (we stayed in the Emotional Suite); the beds are good and the shower is great, with a ceiling heater as a nice extra! Breakfast is excellent, extensive for Italian standards and a lot of (if not all) local products (the best yoghurt I’ve ever eaten, home made cakes, local honey, local cheese, fresh orange juice and last but not least their signature dish of Parmesan truffle eggs). Giulia & her team are always willing to help you with whatever question you may have. We will be back!

We stayed three nights and couldn't have asked for a better experience. The staff was friendly and accommodating, the view was incredible, and the location perfect for one night or one month. We loved the breakfast, but also loved the convenience of being in the heart of Neive (so many walkable wine bars & restaurants!). When we come back to the area, we'll be staying here again without question!

Myself, husband, 2 brother in laws and their wives stayed here for 3 nights. We were in NW Italy and Austria for 10 days. This was hands down the best place we stayed. The woman (and her family seems to help) who runs this place were so so nice, helpful and friendly. She helped us make dinner reservations, ideas of things to do during the day and even cleaned our shoes after a muddy vineyard hike. The rooms are very spacious, great views. They have a TV, fridge, water. The bathrooms were spacious. As mentioned in other reviews, the breakfast was amazing! We were visiting for truffle season. Besides the entire spread for breakfast, she would also prepare us an egg with a white truffle cream sauce!!! In the cellar, there is an adorable little wine bar with a huge variety of wines. There is also an after business hours sitting area with wine available for purchase on the honor system. The village this hotel in is was also one of my favorite stops. It is very small. But we had our favorite meal here L’Aromatario. We also stopped in some of the enotecas for a glass of wine. It is a beautiful little village. You are minutes away from Barolo and Barbaresco villages. We literally walked to one of them. Also its about a 15-20 minute drive to Alba where the white truffle festival was being held. We visited in October 2023. Just realized this review didn’t post and TripAdvisor won’t let me go back that far in the date visited section.

We have stayed in this hotel for a week and everything was outstanding: the staff is beyond friendly, the rooms are very clean, veriety of dishes are available for breakfast, the location is very picturesque right in the center of historical area of Neive.

One of the best stays on our trip. The ladies who run the hotel are so wonderfully friendly and accommodating. The rooms are uniquely decorated and super clean. Our room was large with a private balcony and…the best part…. A walk in shower that looked out into the landscape of the Langhe valley. The hotel is right in the town with a super easy walk to several wonderful rests. The hostess at the hotel helped make all of our dinner reservations (and they were all wonderful with great views!) Plus a fabulous breakfast every morning. Great stay in Neive!

Just fantastic! Also this year we had a wonderful stay here. From the reception by the charming doctor to the departure, everything was just perfect. We really enjoyed great hosts, a super clean maisonette room and the unbeatable breakfast with the delicious Parmesan truffle fried eggs. We'd love to come back.
