ヒルデブランド ホテル(Hildibrand Apartment Hotel)

It was expensive, the toilet didnt work properly. The WiFi was bad, we were not able to watch the tv, at first we had to connect it ourselve. It was party on the groundfloor under our room and when that ended it moved to the room next to ours.

We were staying in a guesthouse a few miles out of town but needed somewhere for an early evening meal. The restaurant at the hotel opened at 1700 so met our needs. Staff were friendly and welcoming and the restaurant was nicely decorated and clean. Our food was good and service was good as well. Ideal place for a meal in the town when other restaurants were closed.

I don't have much to say other than you're renting an entire apar**ent suite. Huge upgrade from a hotel room at comparable prices. The place was very clean, and the woman at the desk was very helpful. :) The view from the balcony was excellent as well, and the shower actually had closing doors instead of just being open like most hotels we stayed at (which guarantees the entire bathroom floor gets wet - but not an issue here). Had to leave relatively early, so did not get to enjoy the breakfast they offer. All in all, one of the better places on my trip.

We had a spacious apar**ent with a very well equipped kitchen - and most importantly a beautiful view of the sea. The bathroom was a bit old, but everything worked well. The pool that can be visited for free is just a few steps awayalso has an excellent view. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and service oriented. We definitely recommend to stay here and to take the opportunity to have a walk along the beautiful coast (start is at the end of the village).

We stayed in 6 different places while in Iceland. This place tied for first! We had 3 bedrooms! We enjoyed the extra space. It included a refrigerator, microwave, stove. We cooked pasta there. They had a free breakfast each morning that included rolls, jam, fresh cucumbers, Tomatoes, baked beans. Hard boiled eggs. It also included use of the pool which was about a 3 min walk away with 2 hot tubs and slides(we did not try those).

Very comfortable two-bedroom apar**ent with well-stocked kitchen, and great views over the Fjord. We enjoyed the free access to the local pool (2 mins walk) which has nice hot tubs with views. Would highly recommend!

Quiet town, nice room. A few things could use fixing but nothing major.

Apar**ent was roomy and clean, all appliances that you need available. Great location, and beautiful view of the sea. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, and great food at the restaurant. Sofa bed could be more comfortable, but still ok :)

I was a little apprehensive when we booked the hotel as it was a little out of our way and it was only for 1 night. I am so glad we stayed. First the city sits on a Fjord completely surrounded by mountains. You have to take a 4 mile tunnel to get to the city. We had a 2 bedroom suite and it was huge with a balcony overlooking the water. They also said we had free access to then city’s pools with slides next door but we did not have time to take advantage. One of my regrets was not staying in this hotel for another night. The city is small but definitely one of the coolest locations I have ever been.
