The was small room and bathroom tiny bathroom. But the it was clean and the beds where comfortable. The AC/Heater did not work properly was the only down side. The breakfast was average. The best part was the Convenient location close to metro line 1 and offering an affordable price.

We stayed from Thursday to Monday at Hotel Charlemagne. The staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. We had two double rooms, which were cosy, comfortable, especially the beds, with ensuite toilet and shower, which were spotlessly clean. Our rooms faced a quiet street and the hotel itself was a small charming building with a very nice ambience. It is located in a quiet, safe, attractive neighbourhood, very close to the Paris Metro Line 1, (the nearest station was Pont de Neuilly) with easy access to the centre of the city and Port Maillot Bus Station for travel to Paris Beauvais Airport. Lots of great restaurants and cafés near to the hotel and some lovely patisseries!!

We chose the hotel for its location, near the Fondation Louis Vuitton where were going to an exhibition, and a few minutes from the Metro It turned out that it is surrounded by excellent restaurants, boulangeries and shops The hotel is small, the rooms are very clean and comforatable with all amenities- good wi fi, safe, fridge and coffee/ tea making facilities. The shower is a squeeze but plenty of hot water We opted not to have beakfast are tehre were so many great places a few minutes walk away for coffee and food The reception staff are excellent and very helpful. One day the local metro line was down and they helped us work out a route into teh centre taht we would never have figured out ourselves We really liked this hotel

Great Hotel, the service-people were very friendly and helpful. The room was quiet. GREAT Stay!!! And perfect location to get everywhere! Bois Boulogne 10 min away. Metrostation 1 minute away. And very typical french.

So happy I chose to stay here. Couldn’t fault the location: a metro station on the doorstep and lovely restaurants and bakery nearby. Room was warm and clean. The only negative thing was the walls were so thin we could hear people next door using the toilet, brushing their teeth etc. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others.

Was placed here for 4 nights on business in October. Location was near my work appointment but I discovered it took 20-30 min. by metro to get to any other attractions in the city. The staff esp. at the desk were all very courteous and helpful and I think they are the best asset of the hotel. My 3rd floor room was basic; generally clean and I was happy there was not carpet in the room because of the news about bed bugs in Paris. Much of the second and first floor seemed to be under renovation and there was some noise although it wasn’t a big distraction. Room walls very thin; I heard my neighbors’ conversations and phones each day. Only basic amenities: one “large” bath towel, one hand towel, no wash cloth, no robe, plain soap, paper cups, tea products in room not replenished once used. Mattress hard and squeaked - my back hurt after 4 nights. My greatest concern was the black mold on various surfaces in the bathroom and shower. The regular cleaning is not removing this and it could be a health issue for some people.
