We absolutely loved this great little hotel. The staff is super attentive and friendly, the room was clean and adorable, and the location is perfect as it is in a quiet spot away from the loud and crazy section of Bourbon st. Can't wait for our return visit.

This 19th century residence converted to a hotel shows its age, but that is part of its charm. Great location in the French Quarter. It can get noisy at times, but one doesn't stay on Bourbon Street for the peace and quiet. Excellent value. A connected bar and cafe serve all needs other than a restful sleep after a night of fun. Service was excellent.

Its an old building built in the 1800s well maintained with a great ambiance. The whole staff was awesome.plan on going back

Honestly the guy that checked us in really set the tone for us. He was rude and miserable. We drove for 7 hours for an overnight stay. We had such high hopes but overcoming his attitude drained us. We hated our room but because of how he treated us we didn’t want to ask to change it. Trip of a lifetime brought down by a miserable man. I suspect this is the person in other reviews as the surly bartender. Loved the location and the parking. Room was beautiful and comfortable. Would never stay again or recommend it based off this rude, inhospitable human. New Orleans is full of amazing, Happy, enthusiastic,kind humans. Stay elsewhere and don’t wreck your trip.

A beautiful older historic hotel right at the end of Bourbon. The view from our balcony is absolutely one of the best in the city! In spite of the location we had no trouble with noise from the street - the room has a fan for white noise, so smart! Everyone here from checkin to check out has been wonderful - the friendly front desk people, the super sweet housekeeping ladies, attentive bartender, and talented piano players - all made our stay one of the best in New Orleans. As an added bonus we were able to meet the wonderful couple that own Lafittes 😬 We are so happy to have found this gem and will definitely be staying here again - highly highly recommend for any and everyone!

I stayed at the this hotel for the past 7 years around thanksgiving time. This hotel management and ownership has gotten worse every year. You feel like you are in a institution not a hotel. The rude French guy at the desk that works overnight is less than helpful. On our last night there we saw two huge rats one on the first floor by the elevator and the second one directly outside of our room by a storage closet. Although our room was clean and the sheets were very wrinkled the carpets throughout the entire hotel has stains and smelled of mold and vomit. The owners are rude and none accommodating

The hotel is beautiful and has so much character. The staff is friendly and helpful. We stayed in room 21. A large room full of antiques with private balcony overlooking Bourbon St. There is a bar in the lobby open until midnight and another bar right next door open until 2am. If you are a light sleeper,or like to go to bed early, I would advise bringing ear plugs. We usually stay up late on vacation, so the noise did not bother us. The ONLY downside to our room was the bathroom. It was TINY!!! There is a step up into the bathroom, so if you need to get up in the middle of the night be careful stepping back down. If you're half asleep, you could fall. This is the only reason for not getting 5 stars. We would stay here again!

This my second stay. Great location if you are visiting the French Quarter. Friendly staff, clean hotel
