I love staying at The Canal Street Inn when I’m in New Orleans. Monica and her staff are amazing! Conveniently located on the Canal Street trolley line.

Amazing place! We really enjoyed it

This was one of the best stays ever. I had no idea when I booked that it was a Bed and Breakfast!! It’s decorated to antique and stylish! The Street car running directly in front is and added bonus! Our concierge served us delicious breakfast options each morning! Although there should be non pork options. The are around the hotel is very lovely and friendly. We strolled 3 to 4 blocks everyday enjoying the local eateries in the neighborhood. The entire staff from concierge to cook to the groundskeeper were very pleasant! I will definitely be booking and recommending Canal Street Inn!

Awesome find and gem of an innkeeper! We had advised the inn keeper of an early arrival which she was fine with. However, we showed up really early b/c of an early flight. Merely wanted to store our bags and change cloths in a bathroom. Monica had none of that. Promptly, took us to our room, got us set up and we worried about payment....etc later. She did all of this despite working on breakfast prep. Also very helpful with recs and helped m with some tech issues getting boarding passes. A gem of a place. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Absolutely gorgeous, will definitely plan to stay again

This house was perfectly located to be near the action on bourbon street but not in it. It was clean and quiet and comfortable with gracious staff and good food. It was very clean as well. The house was nicely furnished with a small gathering area. Big plus for having a stocked nepresso machine.

We enjoyed amazing Southern hospitality, loved the gorgeous, spacious rooms full of character, and appreciated the free parking. We stayed in the Prytania Master Suite, and it felt like a small apartment with a huge walk-in closet, living room, and bathroom. We also cannot say enough good things about our most charming and helpful hostess Julia. We had to leave early for a tour and therefore missed breakfast, but Julia packed us to-go bags so that we wouldn't got hungry. Downtown New Orleans can be reached very quickly by streetcar. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

The inn is lovely and we liked our room, beautiful decor for Christmas as well, we would have liked to have choices for breakfast but you just get what they give you and even though we asked ahead of time on the day of our departure for a to go breakfast as was stated in the details we were told nothing was available so we left for the airport without food.

Charming!!!! Breakfast is served on tables with lovely China and fresh flowers.
