Stayed loads of times. New owners really focused on renovation and improvements while keeping the original vibe. For surfing and hiking it offers a great location with the only kitchen available in Newquay. Just a great setup overall especially for surfing which is my reason for staying. Just a few suggestions. Mattresses need replacing as a good night's sleep is key but it's on their list. The lounge has been renovated but the carpet could do with ripping out as old smelling. Open the kitchen at 7am not 8am. Minor things and just my opinion plus speaking to other travellers while I stayed. Overall it's amazing and I still slept ok as always so knackered after 3 sessions a day. Support this place, especially through the winter months and I will return soon for sure.

This was my second stay at Breakers Guest House. The location is absolutely perfect. It is a ten minute walk to Fistral Beach with a similar distance to the town centre. Most of the rooms have sea views which is very relaxing. The guest house is clean, tidy and it also has a lounge with a bar that guests can use. The owners are so friendly and fun. I enjoyed my time here very much and look forward to staying there again. Highly recommended.

Nice and clean room, and the lovely host couple are so friendly! Located near the Fistral beach, Newquay Gold club and only 10 minutes walk to city centre. Highly recommend to book when travel to Newquay

Can’t thank Matt and Sarah enough for their kindness and hospitality! After being stranded in Newquay at their bustiest weekend of the year (Boardmasters) having booked a hotel which turned out to be fraudulent and and out of business, we were left without accommodation, panicking and stressed. Matt and Sarah made every effort to make us feel welcome in their warm and cosy hotel at such short notice! They went out of their way to find a room for us which was spacious and light with a wonderful sea view! We really cannot recommend this place enough and we will certainly be back!! Friendly welcome, helpful advice and great views. The room was clean and of a good size even though there were three of us in there. We managed to find a parking space on the road outside for free but otherwise there are large (pay) car parks a stone's throw away. They have a bar, which we didn't use but no food. Breakfast is limited to tea, granulated coffee and a biscuit in the room and the only mild downside was there is just a sink in the room and no en suite bathroom but this is located a few meters away from the room. This wouldn't stop me from going back though.

Really friendly and helpful owners. Accommodation is comfortable and tastefully done. Great location for Fistral beach. We decided to make ourselves a packed lunch and to have a take away one night (pouring with rain), and Matt and Sarah kindly provided some plates and cutlery for us. The shared bathrooms will put some off but if you’re fine with that I’d definitely recommend Breakers.

We had room 3 which we loved. Nice decor, and a great view over the park to the sea. We got parked in the road a couple of times and parked in the car park opposite when there was no room. Not a problem at all. Easy walk down to Sainsbury's to buy breakfast, and then a bit further later in the day to go into town for a meal. Would stay here again.
