ブラック ホース ホテル(The Blackhorse Hotel)

Warm welcome. Friendly stuff. Stunning garden very comfy room. cool bar with great music. Lots to see around. Lots of places to see and places eat around. Pizza was amazing. Excellent selection of beers. Really good gin distillery near by.

The room and bathroom was spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed. Problem with the T.V,. reception so un able to watch it. Also problem with shower - either scalding hot or freezing cold, no middle area. Parking is easy, right outside hotel with no restrictions. In all, good value for money these days.

This hotel and pub is located in the heart of Newton Stewart. It's a great place for exploring Dumfries and Galloway. There are buses to Dumfries, Stranraer and Girvan. Our room was very clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed a tasty pizza in the bar in the evening. They don't serve breakfast, but there are plenty of places to eat nearby. Friendly welcome.

A warm welcome after a tough days driving. Happy for me to charge phone and power bank and answered all of my tired questions. I stopped for a couple of hours had a meal of the sharing platter, a coffee and a hot chocolate and all the while felt comfortable and at ease. The food was exactly what I was after and the background music loud, but not obtrusive. They seem to cater for all, the weary traveller, youngsters on a night out and locals just in for a quiet drink.

This is a lovely property and our room was clearly recently refurbished. (Beautifully). The only point to make is that there is no lift, so accessibility for the less mobile is difficult, but this is just something to know, not a criticism. It’s an old building so just one of those things. Everything else outweighs that.

I think the Black Horse has had a complete redecorate as every thing was so new,modern and very clean Unfortunately due to circumstances there was no food but plenty of cafe, takeaways, restaurant walking distance Parking was right outside on the roadside and no problems The beer garden at the back of the pub looked magical We will stop again on the ferry journeys

The room was a good size. It was clean and had all the tea and coffee making facilities you would need. The only downside was the room was next to the outside space. You could hear people talking but luckily it stopped pretty early so didn't cause any problems

I really liked this place, the room was fine and had everything needed. Parking was easy and free on the street outside and it was very convenient for the town centre. It was much quieter than expected as well with little road noise, or from the bar nearby. The staff I spoke to were both friendly. I can't comment on the food as I didn't eat there, but overall everything was as expected and I would happily stay again.

Beautiful place my only downpoint was memory foam mattress and single glazed window so you can hear traffic outside
