Accommodation was only adequate as one part of the room between the bed and window smelt overwhelmingly of cat urine. It was enough to stop a decent night sleep. Bed ok and shower has hot water. Breakfast was dull and only allowed one tea or one coffee at breakfast. Choice of food was underwhelming.Had evening meal there which was acceptable. We were really the only ones eating there but it was quiet with a great view. Vehicle noise from track behind resort. Security issues but phone was returned when chased by our tour guide.

This hotel is incredible. One of the most curious and extraordinary hotels. A very large wooden room, overlooking the river, which is not always the case. Very warm welcome, excellent breakfast,

A beautiful, charming location right on the Nam Ou River. I spent two sparkling evenings at the Nong Kiau Riverside restaurant drinking and admiring the sunset. Great staff--from the porter (Mr. War, a convivial presence, who was born in 1975, following the Vietnam War) to the desk clerks and wait staff. Very warm and inviting place and people. The rooms are individual cabins of teak and thatch on stilts overlooking the river, outfitted with a queen size bed (including mosquito net, which I used), desk, and luggage rack, and perfectly comfortable. While some Western guests may complain about the hardness of the bed, it was a perfect firmness for me. Some may consider the rooms a little on the rustic side, with small cracks and gaps between the floorboards in the room and on the balcony, but the location, great view, and overall situation more than make up for it. Expect some harmless, friendly nightly gecko visitors. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.

Lovely hotel on the bank of the river. Fantastic views from the balcony of our cabin. Good size room and nice bathroom and lovely staff. Really enjoyed staying here (2 nights). Good breakfast. Great town with good restaurants. Used this as our base for the 100 waterfall trek (also great!)

The hotel is very nicely situated but the hotel itself is poor. The rooms are not very well kept, the shower is far from being inviting and in the night it was freezing cold. The bed and the bedlinen don't even look too clean and se slept in our clothing

Les parties communes comme les chambres sont dans un assez mauvais état, manque d'entretien, la salle de bain était très sommaire avec en tout et pour tout 2 petites serviettes pour 2 personnes! L'électricité fonctionne très mal, faux contacts multiples avec du matériel d'un autre âge. Le petit déjeuner est correct. Les sols ne sont pas de niveau et tout est "bricolé" . L'accent est mis sur le jardin qui est tout en longueur, les eaux usées partent directement dans la rivière! Mauvais rapport qualité prix

Petits bungalows de bambous au bord de la rivière... Calme relatif car la piste longe la propriété. Très bon.petit déjeuner et restaurant ok. Pour les cocktails...oubliez! Peu d espace de rangement dans les chambres qui sont propres, confortables et très typiques. Vue imprenable.
