Excellent new find for us in the wonderful Valk chain of hotels !! Decor in the reception is like the best of a Middle Eastern hotel with huge space, tastefully furnished and very welcoming. Room was generously sized even for the well known large rooms at Valk hotels and the bathroom came with jacuzzi bath and double sized shower cubicle. Mattress and pillows gave a very good sleep after a long drive!! Excellent restaurant with good value dinner of 3xsole portions and perfectly cooked Guinea fowl !! We stayed at two other Valk hotels on our 9 night short break and as usual we are never disappointed with the experience in the rooms, in the restaurants and the always friendly and helpful staff!! Keep it up Valk we love you!! ✅👍

Service non existent, room not ready, restaurant billing a saga, elevator out of service, if you need iron board you can come and collect it at the front desk waiting again for the elevator that takes for ever and if u say something they tell you in a politer way this is not my job…..same poor service at Cantharel. Van der valk family you have some work to do….

Had a very good business lunch here. Ordered the burger and I really liked the melted cheese sauce, provided in a separate sauce tray to indulge on. Staff was friendly, service was quick, which is always a plus when enjoying lunch in business time.

Wonderful experience! I stayed a night whilst my husband was in hospital there recovering from an operation. Beautiful entree en friendly check in. In the room a card with a vd Valk toucan plush toy was on the table wishing me and my husband strength during this time (they knew as it was mentioned whilst booking the room). I was very touched by that. The room was immaculate and beautifully decorated, just loved the owl painting. I ordered room service as it was already quite late and did not want to sit a lone after a tiring day at the hospital and within 10 minutes it arrived! I must have had the best vegan poke bowl ever. Never had such a delicious meal ever! I cannot find fault with this hotel. Next morning the breakfast was lavish, they even had fresh smoothies! This stay was a breath of fresh air during some difficult days.

Really a bad sign when the bathtub hasn’t been cleaned. Long hairs are truly disgusting and so visible that I don’t understand why And then there is the noise from the very close motorway A12 is simply too loud. This is definitely my last stay here

The accommodation is very basic - simple. Probably sits just above a 3-star, slightly dated and grubby. My two complaints would be: The large windows open completely on the higher floors - not great regarding health and safety. Also, they don't block the sound of the trains or road traffic NB the hotel is 50 metres from the railway and sits adjacent to a main commuter road. Traffic starts early! A €20 deposit is taken (and charged) for an iron, that you have to collect from reception, "sorry, but we have to be sure that you bring it back". The positives: the food is very good for a hotel chain.

Very efficient front desk team. Instant check in check out. Spacious and clean room. Excellent bathroom space and luminosity. The restaurant is excellent. Unfortunately the bar was booked for an event at the time of my stay. Recommend stay.

We could not travel due to sickness, and still €159,50 was deducted from my credit card. I would like to get that back asap please!
