Extremely helpful staff and excellent communication regarding Mauritanian customs, this place makes a great base camp for travelers arriving into Nouakchott before they go off into the desert.

Enjoyed very much, friendly and fair priced.Good position and a**osphere.. Easy to find and in a decent area of town. Feels like home. Pffff.... review needs 200 characters, some more bla bla then That's all folks.

Highly recommend anyone and everyone to start your Mauritania trip at Triskell with Seb. He provided me with so much information about anything I asked , set me up accordingly and even contacted the next accommodation for me in the town I planned to travel to.

We planned to stay in a tent, but unfortunately heavy rainfalls made that impossible. Sébastien warned us of this before we arrived and arranged for us to stay in one of his airconditioned rooms with mosquito net. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. He gave us so many tips for our trip, provided us with contacts for accommodation in other towns and even drove us to the bus stop himself when the driver didn't show up. His advice was invaluable for our journey.

Don't know why someone left a bad review. Had a pleasant stay and see it for yourself! It's a great oasis in a busy city. Sebastien is fantastic host!

I was delighted with my stay at Le Triskell. I arrived (solo) late at night and they picked me up and prepared a delicious salad despite the late hour. My room (a private room inside the house) was comfortable and big. I had a fan and a functioning bathroom with hot water. The garden yard at Le Triskell is a delight. So beautiful and a wonderful place to hang out with Sebastian or other travellers. Great food was served here as well. The location was good. A nice, quiet neighbourhood, bus also walkable to the city centre (it's not a short walk, but not that long either). Lots of restaurants in close proximity. Sebastian also helped t arranged onward transpiration and was a great source of information. Very helpful, for me anyway, is that he speaks English as well as a French. I would 100% recommend this place. It was a great way to start my trip in Mauritania.
