I stayed here instead of booking into a premium inn in the town and this did not disappoint. It was worth the extra drive just to eat. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the room was clean and very comfy. The highlight was certainly the breakfast it was delicious and it set me up for the day ahead.

Lovely village pub, unfortunately the restaurant doesn’t open on Mondays which wasn’t mentioned on ******* when I booked. However pub gave the option of ordering a takeaway which could be eaten in the pub, as it was I drove to nearby Oakham (4 miles) and had a nice meal. Staff all welcoming and enjoyed a nice cooked breakfast in the morning. Room was spacious and bed was comfortable. Only downside was the shower wasn’t great and there was black mould gathering high up near the ceiling above the shower.

Excellent all round. It was very busy while we were there, always a good sign. Staff were very accommodating. The food was very good. We visit the area a number of times a year and this is where we will stay. Good value.

Stayed three nights in this lovely village pub. The food was excellent. Rooms were clean, tidy and well equipped. Chris, Yolanda and their staff were all so friendly and welcoming. Lovely gardens, hanging baskets were gorgeous. They advised local areas to explore. It was all perfect, wish it could have been a longer stay.

A beautifully presented village inn., with very friendly and helpful hosts and staff. Excellent food and ambiance. Highly recommend a stay here,lots of interesting places to visit in the area.

The staff and owner were very pleasant and helpful. V clean. Good shower. The weather was v hot snd there was a Fan in room. Yea making facility. Hair dryer. Good Wi-Fi. We had an excellent meal. Lovely setting. I can’t fault this hotel. I would go again.
