ラ クローヌ ホテル レストラン(Boutique Hotel la Couronne)

Bereits das Apero in der gemütlich Bar war sehr angenehm. Der Barkeeper versteht sein Handwerk. Das anschliessende Essen in dem sehr stilvollen Restaurant war ausgezeichnet. Die empfohlenen Spezialitäten waren köstlich. Die grosszügige Weinkarte lässt jedes Weinliebhaber-Herz höher schlagen. Die freundliche Bedienung rundete das Ganze in ein sehr positives Erlebnis ab.

Zum wiederholten Mal im schönen Restaurant, und zum ersten Mal eine Übernachtung, im tollen Hotel Couronne! Die Zimmer sind fantastisch, ein superior Room lohnt sich! Alles ganz wunderbar, von der Rezeption bis zum Restaurant sehr nette Mitarbeiter und eine gute Stimmung! Die vier Sterne sind mehr als verdient! Gerne wieder

Ausserordentlich hilfsbereite, aufmerksame und kundenorientierte MitarbeiterInnen. Sowohl im Hotel selbst, als auch im dazugehörigen Restaurant. Wir sind mit unserem Hund gereist und haben das bei der Reservation natürlich angegeben. Im Restaurant standen dann schon Napf und 3 Leckerchen für sie bereit. Essen im Restaurant war ebenfalls sehr lecker und ich habe zum Geburtstag sogar noch eine sehr grosszügige Aufmerksamkeit erhalten.

A very nice hotel, perfect location, next to the cathedral, romantic and historical place as well! The rooms are comfortable, offering l'Occitane amenities, walk in shower, and quiet. The restaurant listed at "Gault et Millau" is offering a refined cuisine highlighting local products, the wine list is also selecting local wines, prices are quite high as far as the wine list is concerned. The teams are sincerely helpful, smiling, reacting to each requests promptly. We will come back!

This is a fine hotel about a 10-15 min walk from the Solothurn train station across the river and up a hill. The old town (Altstadt) of Solothurn is very nice, reknown in Switzerland for its Baroque style. The hotel itself is first class but I would strongly advise being sure to stay in the main building itself, not the annex. Here's why: the annex is on an alleyway and near a bar which has a loud and boisterous clientele. When we were there, it was as though the zombie drummer from Hell and his singers were having a gig - happily, I think Swiss law closed them up at 10 or so. Not sure if this is always the case but.... The restaurant at the hotel is very nicely done, excellent food and wine list, breakfast is sumptuous, service tops. Solothurn is off the beaten touristic track for most but if there, this is a worthy candidate in which to find repose.

Das Hotel direkt neben der Kathedrale ist sehr gut erreichbar die Lage ist top. Die Zimmer sind sehr gut eingerichtet und gut renoviert. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Essen im Restaurant ist ausgezeichnet. Das Haus hat einen modernen historischen Charme.

Wir waren rundum zufrieden. Besonders überzeugend waren das gemütliche Bett, die tolle Lage, der freundliche und zuvorkommende Service sowie das hervorragende Restaurant. Der kleine Aufpreis für ein Zimmer mit Sofa hat sich bei uns gelohnt. Trotz Musiktage war es übrigens sehr ruhig (gute Fenster). Der Altbau bringt eher niedrige Decken und dunkle Räume mit sich, darauf sollte man sich einfach einstellen.

This is a wonderful hotel in Solothurn. We chose it because of it's location on a cobblestone street in old town, taking us back hundreds of years. The rooms are nicely decorated and spacious (by European standards). The breakfast was very good. The staff was very helpful and pleasant.

Overall we were very happy with the hotel but did struggle with the 5 star cost. For the money we paid I thought there were a few missing factors:- No AC Little shelve space in bathroom & bedroom Small TV Sp**** or bare décor. Sorry but a bit disappointed for the price. Note: I paid same in Neuchatel at the Beau Rivage! Different league.
