Unfortunately we wouldn’t stay here again. There was a cockroach in our bathroom and the AC was so loud. Positives: the breakfast, location and right on the beach.

We arrived last day of oyster fest and it was busy. We were tired after drive from Canada. We were assigned a room right but above jackhammers working on concrete from 9am-6pm. The hotel was only 1/2 filled at that time. We could not sit on balcony from dust and noise. We didn't complain but should have. They could have easily looked that we were staying 2 nights and gave us their best possible option for our comfort.

Nice hotel, as advertised. Potentially nice view which unfortunately was marred by a huge dumpster next to the dune. If you have an ocean view, avoid buildings 6 and 7!

Quite clean room and bathroom, impeccable sheets, impeccable kitchen, I was impressed with the cleanliness, congratulations to the cleaning staff, the only bad thing is that one of the chairs on the balcony had bird pupu but it is not the fault of those who clean, in general I loved it and I will book at this hotel again.

A great place to stay. Beautiful ocean view. This was our first trip to Ocean Beach. Enjoyed stay here.

We really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful views and beach access. Remodeling was going on but fairly easy to deal with.

Upon arrival front desk staff were not very welcoming. Hotel ad stated disability friendly. I disagree! When i reserved the room i stated that I was on oxygen. The elevator that i had to use to get to my room was to the far end of the property even after going up had to walk long hall through several buildings to room. The breakfast room the same. Drink machines were open out of order. We left the free breakfast to far to walk. On top of that hotel property was under some type of construction. This was soppose to be a trip celebration of my Veteran. Needless to say he did not enjoy his trip either!

Always amazing with oceanfront view. ALL the staff were exceptional & responded quickly to our every need. The room was perfect—only issue were the sheets & pillowcases were scratchy & rough probably from being laundered so much. Other than that little minor thing we will definitely be back & always stay at the Islander Inn.

The room needs major updates. The bedding was old and frail. Will not be staying at that location again.

The location of the Islander Inn is ideal. The beach is absolutely the perfect place for a quiet getaway. The hotel itself is just a little tired. The bed linens and towels were in need of replacement as they were threadbare and pretty tattered. The included continental breakfast was just okay. That said, it was a decent value for the low room rates.

Check in was fast, nice to have elevator and rooms clean, smelled wonderful. Close to pier and beach. Plenty of parking. Standard continental breakfast, nothing special. Only notable issue would be quality of towels, etc. They were very thin and small.

It was a good visit other than the heater making loud noise when it ran.

Amazing views with spacious rooms. Seemed older and slightly run down but was still very comfortable. Breakfast options are limited and not the best. We absolutely loved our stay though.

The hotel was clean and safe. Breakfast was better than years in the past. They should make plans to have another elevator installed at the other end of the building.
