Lovely hotel set in beautiful grounds sadly let down by a truly awful restaurant. Hotel staff were very professional and helpful, sadly the same could not be said of the restaurant evening staff. The room was extremely spacious and comfortable. Wi-Fi was perfect for business needs. I had one evening meal in the restaurant and vowed I’d never return - very slow service and when the food finally arrived it was cold and congealed. Breakfast was nicer but still not the best food considering the price. I’d recommend staying in the hotel but would not recommend the restaurant - Park hotel you have some work to do there.

Wonderful hotel. The rooms are spacious very comfortable and quiet. If you want to relax and enjoy an outdoor and indoor pool this is a perfect place to stay. The garden is beautiful and you will find plenty of space to enjoy nature and take advantage of their proximity to the beautiful town of Ootmarsum. Breakfast is reasonably good and abundant. Lunch provides a few well prepared dishes but not many choices so for long stays you will inevitably repeat some dishes. In good weather you can enjoy having your meals in the terrace. Dinner is very good. Plenty of dishes, high quality ingredients and very well executed. Vegetarians will find several very tasty dishes. The service is prompt and extremely friendly. If you enjoy biking you’ll find plenty of places to explore as you can rent the bikes at the hotel. All the personnel strives to make your stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel.

We have stayed several times at the Wiemsel and enjoyed it every time. However, this time when we had a special celebration after a long period of Covid restrictions, our high expectations were not met. We had opted for the recommended special menu. However, we were disappointed with the offering. The starter was tiny. The amuses, the main dish and the dessert were good but as not as artistic as we had hoped. Although we had indicated beforehand we had a special celebration, this was not picked by the serving staff. The breakfast buffet was pleasant but not extraordinary.

We just stayed in this hotel on a mid week arrangement. Location of hotel is great. Beautiful area. Room spacious and very good beds. Service at reception poor. Service at hotel terrible. Long waits with not even full restaurant. Food was terrible. Dinner as well as breakfast. This was not level normal for Relais & Chateau of which we have seen many. Is this post Corona dip for the hotel? Shame as we were looking forward to this trip. Will never go here nor recommend to anyone.

Wir besuchten das Hotel im Rahmen eines Arrangements.Das Zimmer 208 war sehr groß, gepflegt, mit Lage zum Schwimmbad und großer Wiese. Es wurden kleine Aufmerksamkeiten geboten. Das Bad war sauber. Alles ohne Beanstandungen. Das 5-Gang-Menü im Restaurant war erlesen, kreativ und abwechslungsreich. Das gut ausgebildete Personal verhielt sich feundlich, professionell zugewandt und sehr aufmerksam. Obwohl das Restaurant sehr gut besucht war, war von Hektik keine Spur. Das Frühstück am nächsten Morgen war von gehobenem Standard. Die Aussagen zum Personal gelten auch hier. Die Kunstgalerie ist einen Besucht wert.

Hotel uitstekend, we hadden een arrangement, 2 nachten, 2x 3 gangendiner, superior kamer. Kamers waren perfect, zeer ruim, aparte toilet, prima bedden, ruime inloopdouche. Eten was goed, niet heel bijzonder. We hebben 3 dagen gegolfd en zijn helaas niet aan wennen toegekomen.

3 nachten verbleven, mooie ruime kamer, standaard kamer , fijn bed. Ontbijt zeer goed en ontzettend vriendelijk personeel. Ook 3 avonden in het restaurant gedineerd, jammer dat t****e avond het keuze 3 gangen menu niet beschikbaar was, ook was er deze avond een beetje te drukke/ amicale ober die ook zeer krenterig was met wijn inschenken. Heb 3 avonden wijnarrangement genomen, 1e en 3e avond hele fijne bediening en werd er zeker25-30% meer ingeschonken. Heerlijk gegeten. Ook spa de luxe gedaan, heerlijk z`n dag, goed verzorgd alleen jammer dat bij de man zowel bij scrub, lichaamspakking en massage, buik en borst worden over geslagen. Nooit eerder meegemaakt. Eindelijk eens een hotel waarbij het sauna gedeelte textielvrij was😃, nu nog het lef hebben om het zwembad vrije keus te maken, toch nooit lekker als je tussendoor wilt zwemmen om iedere keer die koude natte zwembroek weer aan te trekken. We weten toch allemaal wel hoe een man en vrouw er uit zien. Al met al een heel fijn hotel waar je je gelijk thuis voelt en iedereen bijzonder vriendelijk is. Zeker een aanrader en wij zullen zeker terug gaan.
