Really interesting place to stay. You feel as if you are going back in time. No mod cons, but luxurious antique comfort. Lovely gardens and in the evening, bisons arrive to graze. Great food in the restaurant, which feels like a ball room from the 1920s.

No Wi Fi, felt like a deserted place with nobody at all inside. The rooms need to be upgraded to match the rates!

We stayed one night to experience the grandeur of the palace. The staff were courteous and the meals were to a high standard that you would expect of such a place. But we felt isolated and little disappointed as it was very quiet and lacked warmt. Hot water was only on at certain times making it more univiting and some parts looked rundown. The ball room was impressive and had nostalgia but we were glad to only stay one night. I'm sure the experience may be better during the high season when it is more busier.

Stayed May 04 to May 07, 2025. Great property. The interiors are great. Huge lawns. Staff is very good. The meals excellent.

Our check-in was seamless, and we were graciously upgraded to the Regent Suite – a stunning accommodation featuring a spacious living area, grand 10-seater dining table, bedroom, powder room, and luxurious bathroom. While the property shows some signs of its age, the staff maintains its historic charm admirably. The palace houses a majestic restaurant, a dedicated high tea area, and a bar (temporarily closed but reopening soon). Adding to its natural charm, peaceful Gaurs and wild pigs can often be spotted grazing on the lawns. The service was exceptional, particularly in the restaurant where Chef Iqbal Hussain went above and beyond, preparing special off-menu dishes at our request. The food quality was consistently outstanding. Though this grand palace would benefit from some careful renovation, it remains a remarkable destination. To enhance the guest experience, we'd suggest adding activities like barbecues, campfires, and children's programs to complement the property's inherent majesty."

Hotel is so asthmatic. Rooms are so big and comfortable. All necessary things are available. Staff are so humble and nice. Food is ok.

An excellent palace with pure heritage culture. The place is surrounded by acres of land. With beautiful gardens and architecture of colonial style. I’m pretty impressed and quite breakfast with south indian and english cuisine.
