West Down – The Heritage Resort truly lives up to its name. The heritage vibe, peaceful surroundings, and well-maintained property made our stay in Ooty very special and relaxing. The hospitality was excellent, especially from the front desk staff Mohith, Mercy and Denzil, who were polite, helpful, and ensured everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. The housekeeping team – Gopal, Vineeth, Manjunath, and Aseena – did an outstanding job. The rooms were spotless, well organized, and service was prompt whenever needed. Their dedication and friendly approach made a big difference to our overall experience. Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant stay with great service and attention to detail. I would definitely recommend West Down – The Heritage Resort to anyone visiting Ooty and would love to stay here again.

Beautiful Resort in a great location. Rooms were clean and spacious. All the staff members were excellent and helpful. We were group of 10. We enjoyed our stay.

location is fine. cons: poor maintenance of rooms. the door locks of both rooms were broken. they just give conditioner to take a bath. when asked abt giving shampoo and bodywash, they just have a shampoo to give. the services at the restaurant are also below par. though the food taste is fine but it takes 45 min for them to deliver your order. and then there's no one to listen to your basic requests of water, bowls, spoons - each one if those takes 10 minutes. they seems to have some local boys on service who usually shy away from work and don't understand English. hot water is not available 24 hrs. only 8 hrs per day. And room cleaning is also below avg. they don't even change your bedsheets daily. they say that they do it alternatively. I booked 2 rooms @12k/day..at this price I definitely expected better services.

One of my best stays at Ooty. Polite staffs Govind, Santosh & Santosh and others. South Indian breakfast is what I liked. Only Dosa can be improved. Otherwise buffet was really good . Service anytime is also good. I have stayed in other hotels in Ooty before, and this is my first stay at West Down and I give star rating to this property.

Location was good. Breakfast was worst. Nothing was good in buffet. Rooms were not that clean. There were some used shampoo and moisturisers in the room.

well maintained place to live .staffs are polite and respectful.Away from market,bus stand . located on the way to mysuru.

We had good dine and drink. Garlic chicken is good!! Also room condition and receptionist services are good too!!

less greenery and near to main road so lot of polluted air inside the property. food inside the restaurant is very costly.
