This hotel is very good value for money. It is extremely clean, the food is of a good standard and the facilities are good too. It is in a lovely situation about 15 minutes walk from Korcula old town and we found it to be a lovely peaceful place. What marks this hotel out is the excellent standard of customer service. The tone is set by the hotel manager who is a visible friendly presence. I had an accident and jammed my fingers into a lounger (my own fault) on the first day of my holiday. Nick, the barman and the manager both really looked after me and made sure my hand was put in ice straight away and this minimised the bruising I experienced. They ensured I did not need further medical attention. Also worthy of mention is the male receptionist who recommended two wonderful wineries for us to visit. He was friendly and very knowledgeable. I would not hesitate to recommend the Marko Polo as a great base for exploring Korcula,

This hotel is spotless. The pool area is gorgeous with amazing views of mountains, the sea, the harbour and old town. Everything is close and accessible. It is only a 10 minute walk into the centre of Everything. There are some lovely restaurants and bars close by. The rooms are simple, clean with good air conditioning. You need to request a kettle and hot drinks for the room and it will swiftly be brought to you. The staff are friendly, fun and genuine - in fact we found Croatians warm, kind and very helpful. We loved the Marco Polo hotel and found it a romantic place with everything you could need. Breakfasts were banging!!!!

The hotel is located in an extraordinary location opposite the city and offers wonderful views of the marina and the city. The location is very suitable for cycling, and the hotel has a bicycle storage room. The staff is very friendly. The quality of the rooms and food is suitable for the price.

Awful! Hotel is extremely dated, very small rooms and filthy!!!!! Hairs in pillows and all over the bathroom. There was even a used contact lens on the night stand. Rooms are very dark and have dark wood paneling on walls. Dark carpet throughout room full of stains and unpleasant odor. Location is incredible . It’s obvious they’ve invested in the lobby and restaurant area. Rooms need a total overhaul!!!! 1 night here is even too much. Do NOT recommend. 1

The Marko Polo Hotel is a gemstone on the Adriatic. The rooms have ample space, and the best shower stalls we've had in Croatia! Breakfast buffet is more than adequate and the pool terrace is lovely. Beach access for swimming is just feet away from the hotel. And Nik at the bar was very friendly and kindly brought us wine glasses for an evening on the pool terrace enjoying a bottle we purchased in town. Hvala Nik. KorLovely experience and Korcula is simply wonderful for a little island laganini!

We had a wonderful experience at the Marko Polo. The facility was clean, up to date, and welcoming. Breakfast was first rate. The manager, Marina Lorinceuc, was a constant presence and cheerfully responsive to our requests for extra towels and pillows. Our stay could not have been more pleasant.

Enjoyed five nights at this hotel. For the price it represents excellent value for money. Very conveniently located and having good facilities it has views over the picturesque harbour and is also located just below a lovely nature reserve which is full of nightingales. The hotel has indoor and outdoor swimming pools, gym, sauna as well as staff that are really lovely. Rooms are a decent size. Decor is bland but is that really important? Meals are buffet style with loads of choice. There are vegan, vegetarian and gut friendly choices too.

Where you get dropped by the ferry, it’s just a 7 minute walk to the hotel, but there is a slight hill. The position of the hotel is good which overlooks the bay of Korcula and old town. Access to old town is easily walkable. In my opinion the hotel itself does not warrant being a 4 star…. More like a 3 star, it needs a complete refurb. Although the pool area is nice, the Sun loungers are the white plastic ones which are very uncomfortable. We went to the pool at 08:30 one morning and weren’t able to access a towel, which you have to queue for at main reception until 09:30! Breakfast pretty basic. You have to queue at a machine for tea/coffee. Our room was allegedly non-smoking but it stank of cigarettes. Toiletries were also poor where there was just one of those squeezy things by the shower for body and hair wash. However, Korcula is a stunning island with lots of beautiful restaurants in old town. We took a 4 hour buggy safari trip which the hotel holds flyers for. That was a great fun way to see the island and well worth 70 euros pp.

This place is a mixed bag. The staff are very nice and helpful. The public spaces are nice and everything is spacious. The pool area is beautiful. The included breakfast is excellent. After that, things go downhill. The hallways are industrial. We were upgraded to a junior suite which was large and had a good view. But everything is worn and dingy. The safe with our passports would not open. The shower head blew off it’s mounting when turned on. The air conditioning stopped working. One chair was filthy. Four of us were on a trip with e-bikes, as were others including a large group. But the hotel only has ONE outlet that can charge bike batteries; it’s in a storeroom. That is problematic, especially when others come in and unplug you (hello, Backroads?). So, be warned.
