Das Personal war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer frisch renoviert im Nebenhaus sehr schön gestaltet. Hätte nur die Heizung im Witer mindestens im Bad eingeschaltet sein können, so dass es bei der Ankunft um 19h ziehmlich kalt war.

Very cute hotel in the heart of town. Rooms are excellently maintained and the hotel is dog friendly, though they charge extra for a dog in the room. We visited during the June 2026 heatwave and whilst there was no aircon, they did provide us with a fan for the room, which was very helpful. There is an electric car charger in the basement. However, the charger for non-Tesla cars is out of order. The Tesla charger was working, but as mine is not a Tesla, it was only delivering 1.5 kW which was not enough to provide a full charge. The hotel normally charges 20 euros for charging, but as it was so slow for me, they charged me based on actual usage at the rate of 50 cents / kWh. Very helpful staff. Would definitely visit again, preferably not during the heatwave. Last but not least, the shower is amazing! You can turn on both the rain shower and the handle shower together and it was by far the best shower facility of any hotel I've been in. Very luxurious!

On our way back from Berlin we stayed here – never again. At check-in they tried to charge more than their own website (only corrected after I insisted). The lounge bar was full, the restaurant overpriced (€9.50 for a simple glass of wine). Room comfort was poor: bad beds, useless pillows, no coffee/tea facilities. At check-out I was told they “could have brought a kettle” – with plain hot water only. This is not hospitality, just box-ticking.

Stayed for two night on a biz trip. Had the deluxe room. Very generous size and huge bathrooms. On site parking was great. Breakfast was delicious with heaps of options. Had dinner in the restaurant one night / also very good. Great hotel right in the old town.

We were ‘walk-in’ customers, whilst on our way from Sweden to Austria by car. We were first given a room at G/F level, tue room access was via the restaurant courtyard - nice room BUT suddenly having FOURTEEN (14) noisy people seated immediately in front of our room door is outrageous ! We asked for a room change and were moved to a 1/F level room: given the ambient warm temperatures and zero ventilation in the room, we opened the window only to have to listen to some staff members talking loudly nonstop - this at 11 pm !!! We did have an excellent dinner at the hotel restaurant - unfortunately our waiter had this drama-attitude - acting like a robot, talking to customers as if they are a burden - rather than him being aware that it us who enable him to have a salary - to add insult to injury - that-man didn’t even have the common garden courtesy of saying ‘thank you’ when given a nice tip. Thee is nothing ‘romantic’ about this hotel - the hardware is ok - it is the staff attitude that leaves a lot to be desired: cold, arrogant and with a very Teutonic attitude

Zugesagtes Zi zum Innenhof ignoriert stattdessen wurde uns ein Zi direkt zur Strasse zugewiesen. Wir hatten nicht das Gefühl, Gäste des Hauses zu sein.

Zum zeiten Mal hatten wir das Vergnügen im Walhalla zu nächtigen (3 Tage) - dieses schöne Hotel mit dem tollen Team macht einfach Freude, wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Dank ans Team!

Wir haben hier auf Durchreise übernachtet. Uns hat die charmante Ausstattung und der sehr nette Service sehr beeindruckt. Zimmer: Liebevoll mit viel Charme eingerichtet - mit sehr angemessener Größe. Bei Sauberkeit gibt es nichts negatives zu berichten. Das Bad hatte Dusche und Fön - beides funktionierte einwandfrei. Restaurant: Wir waren nur in der Lounge etwas trinken. Es gehören zwei Restaurants zum Hotel - beide waren sehr gut besucht. Hotel - gesamt: Sehr charmant aufgesetzt. Allerdings etwas verwinkelt und viele Treppenstufen - keine Barrierefreiheit gegeben. Parken ist im Haus möglich. Für uns war kein Platz mehr frei - ca. 200 m weiter ist ein öffentliches Parkhaus, das gut als Alternative existiert.

Das Hotel liegt traumhaft - mitten in der Altstadt, hat ein wunderbares Ambiente. Der Empfang ist sehr herzlich. Wir hatten ein wunderschönes, sehr geräumiges, gut ausgestattetes und gemütliches Zimmer (Zimmer 133). Auch das Badezimmer war sehr geräumig. Alles ist sehr gepflegt. Restaurant und Frühstücksbereich waren ebenfalls sehr ansprechend. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr opulent. Allerdings fand ich den Preis von € 23,- überhöht. Das mag aber auch daran liegen, dass ich grundsätzlich sehr wenig frühstücke, ein Brötchen mit Schinken oder Käse, ein Ei, Kaffee - das war‘s. Da sind € 23,- natürlich viel Geld.
