ホテル デュ パルク

We were rather disappointed with this hotel. Having seen pictures of the Art Deco façade, we naively assumed there would be lots of Art Deco elements inside also. We were wrong. Apart from the Café du Parc and the hotel lobby, the renovated hotel interior doesn’t seem to have any historic features. Booking over the phone, we understood our Comfort room at the back would be looking out over a courtyard, but it turned out there was no courtyard, only a kind of air shaft, and we had no view at all. We were glad we had only booked two nights because our room was very small and had little storage room. We had to stuff a large green pouf under the desk to prevent us from falling over it at night. The bedding was quite okay, but the bedside lights were useless for reading. Breakfast was served in the Café du Parc (reviewed elsewhere), which is not part of the hotel. Service for hotel guests was not great.

Hotel du parc in Oostende. Top hotel met vriendelijk personeel van check-in tot restaurant tot check out. Geweldig gelegen aan zee ,de winkelstraat en belangrijke bezienswaardigheden. Wij hadden de Marie Louise suite die blijkbaar op de 1ste etage lag en t.o.v.veel andere luxe hotels normaal op de hoogste verdieping zijn. Dit resulteert dan in lawaai s'nachts van hangende jongeren en de tram in de vroege ochtend. Verder was er niets op aan te merken. Heerlijk ontbijt ,goede restaurants op loopafstand. Zeker een aanrader voor een 3-4 daagse citytrip.

Très bon hôtel! Le personnel est très accueillant et sympathique (merci à la dame qui nous a donné 4 cartes d'accès :p). La chambre était très propre, la SDB nickel, la literie, n'en parlons pas tellement elle était confortable et propre! Le petit-déjeuner était également très bon, suffisamment varié. Nous avons juste passé une nuit là-bas entre copines pour un EVJF mais tout le monde a été conquis. Nous reviendrons à l'occasion et je le conseille à tout mon entourage.
