Art Hotel Al Fagiano

This family-run hotel definitely has an eclectic decor. The staff is very friendly, and the rooms are nicely appointed, with there being 24 hour access. The room was very comfortable, but there were definitely stairs to climb, even with an elevator available. The breakfast had a very good selection, with there being some outdoor tables for use in nice weather. The location is very close to the Bascilica of St. Anthony, a tram stop, and within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and other sights in Padua. Please note tahgt the restaurant next door is no longer owned by the family. A wonderful, restful place to stay while exploring the university town of Padua.

A family run hotel where nothing was too much trouble. The welcome was good, our room and linen spotless and the breakfast excellent, and if things ran out they were quickly re-stocked. The art is interesting and it’s almost like staying in someone’s house . Thank you Stefano and Francesco.

It is called an 'Art Hotel' and it is eclectic indeed. Probably a arts class did the refurbishing of this hotel as a master project. The staff is very helpful, the parking is a boon in the middle of the city and since it is narrow, the staff does the difficult parking for you. Ee had to suppress the leaking airco (necessary at 37 degrees under the tiled roof) with a towel over a bin. Good location next to the incredible San Antonio and within 10 minutes walking from the Piazza del'Erbe. 5 minutes from teh Orto Botanico.

The location is very good, it is central and not to far from the train station. The people who run the place are friendly and let us leave our bags after check out so we could explore. You should although be prepared for the type of hotel it is, which we were not. It is an ART hotel, and the art may or may not be to your taste. The room we stayed in had a painting (?) that creeped us out. The room also smelled of a lot of perfume when we arrived and we had to open the windows to vent it out. The pillows were not the most comfortable, but okay.

This family run art hotel is welcoming and in the heart of everything we wanted to see! It is 1 block to the Basilica of St. Anthony and in the other direction for the tram that can take you close to other sites to see in Padua! We enjoyed the flavor the art gave and the room was super clean and beautiful! The beds were great! We were a family of 3 with my husband and I and our son with intellectual disability. The family was so warm and welcoming to us all!

From the time I arrived, the staff (brothers and their mother) went out of their way to be helpful. The room (46) was spacious, the linens were top notch and A/C excellent. Breakfast in the pretty little courtyard was delicious. The hotel is located one block from the Basilica of San Anthony and just a few blocks from the downtown area. Great choice for a stay in Padua.

This hotel is built in 3 separate buildings that have been around for a long time. It's comfortable, clean, and located one block from the Basilica Sant'Antonio, one of Italy's greatest sights. The price is very reasonable. One caution: if you cannot negotiate stairs, ask for a room that's accessible from the elevator without stairs. They'll help you with bags, though, if you can negotiate a few stairs without your luggage.

Hotel molto originale, insolito nell’arredamento e con un tocco di arte in ogni angolo. Apprezzabili le opere realizzate dai titolari sp**** in tutte le stanze e nei locali comuni. Utili le informazioni per visitare la città e anche per raggiungere Venezia ( assolutamente apprezzato il consiglio del treno regionale veloce). Stanza molto grande e comoda per 4 persone, bagno ampio, doccia non molto apprezzata (getto d’acqua debole, chiusura con un telo e rischio di prendere freddo). Colazione ricca e variegata, continentale, molti dolci forse troppi.

Posizione strategica, buona la pulizia delle camere, ottima e varia la colazione a pagamento. Discutibili gli arredi realizzati riciclando vecchi materiali, ma è il mio gusto personale. Per una maggiore pulizia, eliminerei cuscini ornamentali e addobbi vari dei letti, che sono ricettacolo di polvere e capelli. Consigliato per brevi soggiorni.
