カサ ボルボレタ(Casa Bolboreta)

I stayed at Casa Bolboreta when walking the Camino. It is located a bit off the Camino but the friendly owner picked me up from Casanova at no extra cost. Casa Bolboreta is a warm and welcoming place. The food was great and catered for a variety of dietary requirements. There is a lovely quiet walk to a castle nearby that is worth doing.

Peace, relaxation, nature, hospitality and cordiality are the words that first come to mind when thinking about Casa Bolboreta. An unforgettable stay and rest day on the Camino. A little off the beaten path, it is an oasis that brings deceleration for body, mind and soul. In addition to the huge hospitality, the absolute highlight is the dinner. Regional ingredients, cooked with heart and love, a modern variant of the rustic kitchen let every taste bud cheer. Here the guest is taken care of and one feels AT HOME. The great service is also the pick up and drop off on the Camino. Our dog could move freely no matter in which room and garden. For all of us it was pure nature and relaxation with friends. I'm posting a very late review of the wonderful Albergue Casa Sabela from my time walking the Camino Frances in Oct/Nov 2019 - a lifetime ago! I had begun to experience some pain in my leg (shin splints) which required me to take a break earlier than expected that day. The Albergue is only a very short distance off the trail - I walked it in 10 mins and met Mar in the car coming to pick me up. Honestly if you are fit and able I wouldn't think twice about the minor detour to the Albergue. The place, like the people, is fantastic - warm, welcoming and for me at that moment in time a place where I could recuperate in comfort. The accommodation is fantastic and before dinner the various guests assembled in the living room in front of a roaring fire, meeting, chatting and exchanging tales. Even though it was the end of the season there were still quite a few people there and we had dinner together - an amazing paella with all the trappings. Most important however was the friendly and authentic helpfulness provided by Mar and her husband. She went out of her way to help me with a particular request I had. This place is wonderful I would recommend it any time o f the year. Hopefully the Camino will open up soon and I highly recommend this Albergue as a warm and welcoming place to rest your head and nourish the soul. x

El mejor establecimiento con el que hemos dado durante nuestras últimas etapas. Hay que tener en cuenta que se encuentra 1,5km desviado del camino, por lo que la etapa se hace larga.. 31 km desde Portomarín! y cuando llegas a Palas de Rey, hay que seguir andando una hora y media más. Todo lo compensa la amabilidad de Tania y su cena casera. Sencilla, dos entrantes y un principal a elegir, pero exactamente lo que necesitas tras una etapa larga. La mejor cama en la que hemos dormido en el camino y desde luego un sitio al que volver y disfrutar en familia. Al día siguiente, continuamos la siguiente etapa hasta Arzua, que se nos hizo obviamente más corta.

Han cambiado de dueños y es un autentico desastre. El lugar del entorno de ensueño Las opiniones son de los antiguos dueños. Que nonos engañen Servicio pesimo, con personal que no es del oficio y todo les importa un pimiento La comida de colegio Las habitaciones sucias, nonfunciona tv, algunas sin calefaccion Todos los huespedes nos hemos quejado y hemos pedido reembolso ES UN ATRACO Tienen hecho lo dificil-lugar- y fallan en lo facil

Para empezar las propietarias muy agradables y amables, nos trataron con mucha hospitalidad. Las habitaciones muy amplias, cómodas, tranquilas y muy limpias. Es agradable llegar y tener como la sensación de estar en casa. Y luego, la comida del restaurante muy buena y diferente a todo lo que nos encontramos en el camino, és innovador, se nota que la comida esta elaborada con mucha pasión. El chef Loui y la camarera Pilar nos sorprendieron mucho. Sitio muy recomendable, para la gente que hace el camino y para la que no. Excelente.

Alojamiento rural petfriendly, ubicado en medio de la naturaleza, parajes verdes de Galicia. Servicio estupendo. Instalaciones perfectas para sentirse cómodos. Informacion pata excursiones por la zona. Recomendable.

Muy recomendable tanto por sus anfitriones ,como por su cocina distinta y muy rica y por supuesto el entorno que te hace frenar a los que vamos con la velocidad y el estrés de la ciudad. Animo a todo el mundo a que se hospede aquí.

A pesar que está fuera del camino nos vinieron a buscar amablemente para llevarnos a la casa rural, cosa que agradecimos bastante después de 30km andando. Personal muy educado y afable. La casa está en un lugar alejado de la civilización, en plena naturaleza ofreciendo unas vistas maravillosas del atardecer. Comida vegetariana buenísima, de calidad y muy diferente. Cenamos y desayunamos. La habitación muy acogedora y un baño enorme. Haría un alto en el camino para disfrutarlo. Además, con sus indicaciones, es fácil volver por la senda correcta y seguir el camino de peregrina ☺️
