Location is quite good. If you have a car, you can get to everything you want to see quite easily. Be aware that reserving a parking space at the hotel costs 10EU a day! Lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance, so no problem in finding somewhere to eat. BTW the hotel restaurant was closed throughout our stay, so don't rely on being able to eat there. Staff are very friendly and helpful. They have a little English so it's not too difficult to communicate with them. Everything is clean but a little dated and sometimes dingy (e.g. the showers). Beds have thin mattresses but are OK. There is a fridge in each room which is brilliant for storing your own cold drinks. There's a supermarket across the road where you can pick up drinks, snacks and other essentials. Breakfast is a fairly traditional Italian fare. It's fairly good, especially because it's free and there's a reasonable amount of choice. Although advertised as having AC, this is absolutely terrible. If you suffer from the heat - as my whole family does - the rooms are very uncomfortable. Sleeping is almost impossible with the noisy and ineffective AC. We had to change room because it simply didn't work. We found the AC was awful in the supposedly better room too. Bring your own travel fan or be prepared to be sweaty for your whole stay. I would definitely not stay there again because of the AC issue. If you don't mind that, it's pretty good value and makes a good base for exploring Palermo.

Friendly staff and a very large family room are the only positives of our stay. Poor breakfast. Small selection of food, which is limited by staff to 1 piece per person on some items. No baby seat. Stairs leading to elevators / restaurant force you to lift a stroller every time you go in/out. Very small lift, hard to fit in with a stroller. Tiny shower makes it really difficult for adults to wash yourself, not even mention washing the kids. The hotel is generally very, very old and it's well visible.

Nice rooms even if a little old, not very unclean but can be better. The staff was good and Always available for your needs, the food was good and the portions big, lot of choice for the breakfast. The neighborhood is nice even if it's a little far from the centre

It was a very bare bones old hotel with a great deal of wear and tear in the rooms. It's deep in the residential area and limited dining options until after 730p

Purtroppo l'albergo è molto datato,camere obsolete,materasso scomodissimo e pulizia che lascia a desiderare. Inoltre abbiamo seriamente patito il caldo in camera,senza possibilità di poter accendere aria condizionata. La colazione discreta. Personale della reception gentile e simpatico. Ma non ci tornerei ne consiglierei!!!

Hotel oltre le mie aspettative. Camera grande e dotata di ogni confort. Wi-fi migliorabile, ma comunque buono. Personale estremamente gentile, parcheggio interno disponibile, abbastanza vicino e comodo per il centro. Rapporto qualità/prezzo eccellente. Abbiamo cenato una sera, mangiato molto bene e pagato una cifra più che giusta

Recensire Torreata non è facile per me perchè da tre mesi è la mia seconda casa. L'albergo ha limiti ed è sicuramente migliorabile; tuttavia il suo punto di forza è il personale che si presta ad ogni tua esigenza. Sceglietelo per le persone dello staff che sono fantastiche. Ottime le colazioni, camere grandi e spaziose. L'albergo è un po' datato ma il personale è prezioso, Giovanni e Donatella su tutti.

Abbiamo prenotato 2 camere tramite booking. Eravamo in 4, una matrimoniale e una doppia. Su booking dice che il parcheggio privato è disponibile per gli ospiti della struttura ma in realtà se non avessi telefonato per avere conferma non avremmo trovato alcun posto libero. Siamo arrivati in hotel per effettuare il ceck in intorno alle ore 21 del 31/12/2024. Alla reception ci chiedono il documento di riconoscimento. Tre di noi lo hanno subito fornito mentre il quarto ragazzo aveva soltanto la carta d'identità in formato PDF e le foto del passaporto. Lo hanno lasciato fuori la notte di capodanno perché volevano per forza il documento originale. Magari potevano farlo ma in 20 anni di viaggi non era mai successo che non accettassero il documento in formato digitale. Del rimborso ovviamente nessuna traccia visto che avevamo prenotato tramite booking.
