This was a great B&B to stay at. Very good location, within a short walk everywhere. Room size was huge and the breakfast selection was extremely nice. Would I stay here again ? YES!!!!

Property was clean but our shower flooded the bathroom floor every time we showered. Good location to all dining and attractions.

I was so excited about this hotel, the photos looked amazing. The room was spacious and updated, but the street noise was very VERY loud. We have stayed many places including New York City but the noise level here was over the top throughout the day and early morning as well (3-4 in the morning). We expected the room to be made up, beds made each day etc.. but they did not do that during our 3 night stay. There was no one there at check in. It was like staying in an Air bnb. We had to do self check in (we arrived during the day) and since the hotel was located down an alleyway we had a tough time finding it. I am grateful that we are able to manage our own bags up several flights of stairs and felt bad for the much older couple who struggled to get their bags up the stairs. The breakfast was nice each day. But we expected more of a hotel stay not a self serve stay. There was a coffeemaker in the room, but they charged you extra if you used it. There is also a city tax that they will collect at the end of the stay. It was definitely a mixed bag, would not stay again if I came back to Palermo.

I had a tough time giving InCanto an average rating, because it was definitely not average. The good qualities were really great, but the bad qualities were really bad. First the good - The room was large & comfortable, located right in the middle of everything, a few steps away from the famous Four Corners. I loved the breakfast every day delivered right to our room. Lots of great places to eat and drink, and sights to see, just a short walk in every direction. Now the bad - InCanto is difficult to find, since the main entrance, the one with a sign, is inside a private building up on the 2nd floor (or 3rd floor for Americans.) There is no signage on the main streets, and only a tiny sign once you find the otherwise generic door located down an alley. I asked many locals for directions when I was only 1 -2 blocks away, and nobody had ever heard of it. The Four Corners is very close, and very LOUD. Live music starts early in the morning and continues until late at night. Well after midnight, after the music stops, people walk through the streets shouting & kicking beer bottles. It's never quiet, and you easily hear all the noise from inside the room with all the doors & windows closed. The front desk is only staffed in the morning, so when we could not find the place in the afternoon to check in, nobody was there to answer the phone. There's no elevator and no help, so be prepared to carry all of your own luggage up two flights of narrow stairs. We had a misunderstanding regarding our bill. It worked out fine in the end, but we couldn't just go to the front desk to fix it, we had to do everything online, so something that would have normally taken two minutes wind up taking half a day. Our room had a nice wood floor, but there were tiny nails sticking up through the floor. We normally don't wear shoes inside, but after having the nails tear our socks and poke the soles of our feet, we had to keep our shoes on. For me, the negatives outweighed the positives, and I would not stay here again or recommend this place to anyone else.

Loved how close everything was.. a little noisy but nothing too crazy

Couple stayed for 6 nights in this lovely boutique hotel. Room is not big but very well kept and stylish. There are some strange things such as no soap for the bathroom sink, but those are small details. Breakfast included has a lot of options. Reception is not opened after 8 pm but we were able to resolve an issue over WhatsApp in less than a minute. Location can't be beaten for a visit. Thick windows ensure a quiet room. You have to climb stairs as the hotel starts on second floor (third American floor)

Outstanding location. Beautiful property in a historic building. Loved the spacious room and the design. Good breakfast. Our room overlooked a very busy street. It was super noisy at night and hard to sleep, even with the balcony closed. Also, our air conditioning didn’t work properly, and it was hot and stuffy. Not sure why the issue didn’t get addressed despite us bringing it up to with the staff.

Extremely well located with attractions and lots of food options nearby. Newly renovated room which was very comfortable. Lots of options for breakfast and friendly staff. Note the property does not have a lift and is not staffed all the time
