I lovely property. Spacious lobby and bar/restaurant area. Seamless check in with friendly front staff. Bar/restaurant team also very efficient, friendly and as soon as you give room number on day one they all refer to you by name. Very spacious room. Anyone who knows me knows shower pressure and in room water are a must. tick on both counts. The shower was not only powerful but very spacious as was the rest of the room and bathroom. A/C worked well and the desk, internet and working area all very good and again so spacious. I will be staying here again.

This was probably a swanky place ten years ago, but it has aged and hasn't been maintained as it should have been. It's a good location and has some cool features, but little things - like the frosted-glass barn door on the bathroom isn't hung level so doesn't close all the way - diminish the overall experience. The buffet breakfast should be better. The pool didn't appear to be regularly cleaned. The staff is very friendly and genuinely helpful, and the price isn't bad. If you stay, as for a room facing the front. The street noise wasn't intolerable.

Decent hotel but definitely could use a little improvement. The hotel is clean and comfortable, although a little dated in places and banged up (our room's window had a giant crack in it, which had me wondering how safe that would be in a storm!). The view was lovely and the location is good. Breakfast was fine, nothing to write home about. The happy hour drinks and snacks were fair, and the food was ... not good. Definitely don't eat at the restaurant for anything other than breakfast. Also, the hotel is centrally located, which is good, but overlooks a giant parking lot that turns into party bus central on weekends (no joke). It is LOUD. The other nights were quiet, but this is definitely a negative on the hotel's location. Also, it helps to come with a working knowledge of Spanish if possible. At the front desk the staff's English is good, but at the restaurant and spa it's extremely limited. It was difficult to communicate with the massage therapist, who then also told me I was only allowed to pay in cash (which I didn't think was true but had no time to verify). We didn't use the pool because we were busy doing other things, but it appeared to be in need of a little attention. Also, housekeeping was spotty. Some days they didn't come, and when they did, they often didn't replace the towels (although they took the used ones away). Three times I had to call down to request towels, which was a little strange. Overall this is a very serviceable hotel that's located in a central area that makes it easy enough to get to most attractions by foot, cab, or Uber. Do not expect luxury and you won't be disappointed.

The best location for a business even. The attention to details as well as the good service is the key. All the personnel is incredible. The food perfect and on time at avery good temperature. The amenities for the presentation was perfect Definitely I recommend the place for any event.

I am mad at myself for booking the Le Méridien again. The minute I entered my room, I remembered my complaint from 2018 about the exact same issue: the sewage smell coming out of the bathroom. Maintenance came for a quick treatment, but the problem is the smell had years to seep into all fabrics of the room. I can’t understand why noting has been done to remedy this issue! Besides that, the location is great! Great Bonvoy Elite recognition and room upgrade . The restaurant is outstanding! Lounge never reopened, but Plat and above get complimentary breakfast buffet access and 2 hours ( 6 – 8 PM) of happy hour = free alcohol and a snack plate.

I cashed in some Bonvoy points and used them for our 3 night stay at the Le Meriden last week. It’s in a great location along the main road which links the old and new parts of the city. We found it a good base to get to everywhere we wanted to do via Uber cars. Check in was good and the receptionist gave us a good introduction to the hotel and upgraded us to a Gold Suite with my Platinum Bonvoy status. This also gave us free breakfast and drinks and nibbles in the bar each night from 6-8 pm which was great. The bar staff really looked after us well. Our suite was huge with a large sitting area as well a big jacuzzi bathroom and comfortable bedroom. Breakfast was average for the quality of the hotel but fine for what we needed.

The hotel is very well kept. I do think rooms need a refresh but clean and well maintained. I would stay again. Diana and all of the staff were absolutely amazing. Food was excellent and good prices. I would highly recommend for a visit. Pool is a little small
