Do not stay here. We booked two apartments and both were unacceptable. The pool was far smaller and dirtier than advertised. One apartment had “beds” that were just mattresses on top of planks, which collapsed on the first day. The other had almost no basic facilities – no toaster, no ironing equipment, no towels, and not even simple toiletries like shower gel or water. One apartment was infested with ants. Any food left out was swarmed, and when we reported it, the owner dismissed us by saying “that’s their home.” Only after realising we had two apartments (one without ants) did he begrudgingly apologise. We also encountered cockroaches and dead bugs. The wifi barely worked, and the air conditioning was both an added charge and almost unusable – it would swing between freezing cold and unbearably hot, with no middle ground. For the price we paid, the quality was disgraceful and far below even the cheapest nearby options. To make matters worse, when checking out, my boyfriend’s expensive watch (clearly visible in photos taken right before we left) disappeared after cleaners entered. When shown the evidence, the owner’s attitude turned hostile – he accused us of planting it deliberately instead of taking responsibility. Overall, this was one of the worst travel experiences we’ve ever had. Infested, dirty, missing belongings, and run by an owner who treated us with hostility rather than accountability – all at a cost higher than far better hotels in the area.
