ポサダ・ラ・レジェンダ(Posada la Leyenda)

We booked into this hotel as it offered a pool. On arrival we were advised we were staying at another location and drove to a house some distance away. It was not a hotel and there was no pool. Very false advertising but we were left with no option as the area was heavily booked. House had no Aircon or fans and lots of mosquitos. Definately our worst experience in 4 months in Spain. Breakfast was fine.

Due to our ferry back to the UK being delayed for more than 25 hours we were looking for somewhere to stay within easy reach of Santander. We found this small hotel on *********** and made a last minute reservation. When we arrived around 4pm there was nobody on reception, but fortunately Ion was working outside cleaning the patio. He asked us if we had a reservation and explained the entry and exit system to us and showed us to our room. Ion provided us with an electric heater in case we felt cold. We didn't need to use it as the room was fairly warm. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. The bathroom had a jacuzzi bath, which he also showed us how it functioned. Again, we didn't use this feature, but opted for the over bath shower. There was a problem with the thermostat and we couldn't adjust the temperature. This was reported to Ion in the morning and hopefully it will have been replaced for future guests' use. An excellent breakfast tray was brought to our room in the morning. Perhaps the addition of a small table and a second chair in the room would have made it easier for us. We only saw the owner at the reception desk in the early evening when we were going out. A short walk away we found a pub at which you can get a very friendly welcome and reasonable food. There was an intercom link outside the front door for making contact with the owner who lived in another building. Again we didn't use this, although we probably should have as we were kept awake all night by the occupants of the next room. This was our one complaint, and had there been someone on site to whom we could have reported the problem it might have been resolved. As it was we were deprived of our night's badly needed sleep and left the hotel feeling very unhappy. However, that aside, the hotel was clean and comfortable.

We stayed for a week. Unfortunately the apartment we booked had a few problems, one of which was the extreme heat in the room. The owner moved us into a themed room with a terrace which was absolutely fabulous. I would recommend booking these rooms as they are fantastic. All the staff were so welcoming and nothing too much trouble. Pool was great and gardens were lovely. The breakfast was very nice and plentiful. Full size fridge in rooms. Hotel handled COVID restrictions well which included queuing to ask for your breakfast choices. Great fun with translating English to Spanish. Only negatives were the problem with the first room which was handled very well. Would not have been a huge problem if the rooms were air-conditioned. The hot food at breakfast was often quite cold. Maybe a microwave on hand to heat food? As is normal in Spain no kettle but we had our own.

Nos ha encantado!! Preciosa posada,limpia, personal amable,La habitación es amplia y la cama muy cómoda!!Ahh y cada día cuando arreglan y limpian la hab dejan un detalle(gominolas, cacahuetes…) Sin duda un sitio al q volveríamos! Estuvimos muy agusto

Estupenda experiencia ! Las instalaciones estupendas nos dimos un baño en la piscina luego en el jacuzzi …. Perfecto la habitación correcta con todo lo necesario muy limpio y un entorno estupendo , muchos detalles y nosotros nos quedamos en habitación normal pero vimos dos de las temáticas y una pasada ….volveremos .. la atención del equipo tanto por teléfono como en recepción estupenda tambien

Accueil chaleureux et chambre confortable, nous avons passé une nuit très agréable dans cette auberge. La décoration des lieux vaut le détour. Détente garantie notamment avec l'accès au spa en extérieur. Nous reviendrons volontiers tester les chambres à thème.

La posada en si es un edificio precioso pero se uvica enfrente de una granja de vacas ,es apestosa ,estuvimos 3 dias sin poderabrir ni de dia ni de noche ,no pudimos bañañarnos ni disfrutar nada del lugar

La mujer que nos recibió fue súperamable. La habitación no nos gustó tanto porque hacía un calor dentro horrible. Sin dormir porque no hay aire acondicionado, y solo había un ventilador de pared que no podía hacer prácticamente nada. No dormimos y nuestro bebé sudó toda la noche. Algo exagerado. La ventana no se podía abrir o te acribillaban los mosquitos. El desayuno muy bien con todo tipo de productos incluso sobaos sin gluten. Nuestra habitación era sencilla, no temática, con una cama grande y comoda eso sí, pero mucho calor.
