The experience was amazing, the staff was very nice and welcoming, the space was very good and i will come back for sure. Will recommend to my family and friends.

-I wished I had read the previous review before going there ,as I had serious stomachache one night after dinner.. Food and especially was indeed very average. Most of the pastries and else on the morning buffet are industrial and tasteless. -Comfort in the rooms is more than average . A bed of 160cm wide in a huge room??? why not putting a 180cm like any luxury hotel in the world. Dont try to turn off the main bedroom lights when you are in bed, they put the switch as far away as possible ?? Why?? - Talking about the lights, the entire hotel (rooms, restaurant, hallways, bathrooms, etc..) are equipped with this horrendous white light bubs (4000K ) , you feel like you are in a hospital. Dreadful.. - Dont try to lay down quietly on pool side, we will be just next to the main building where thay have the huge kitchen extractor fan and machinery. They didn t bother to enclose it in a local or put it somewhere else . So basically you have this loud humming sound , non stop... - Prices... Everything is completely overpriced for a hotel which pretends to be "luxury". The 5 star rating is a farce. - The good things are the location of the hotel, the river where you can swim and canoe along. An overall very overpriced and underwhelming experience.

My bad review about this place is not about the service, the rooms, or the location. It is about something far more serious: food poisoning and contamination with SALMONELLA and E. COLI. I had the pleasure of staying at the hotel spa without leaving due to its remote location (I mention this because I had lunch and dinner at Aqua Village). For dinner, I had wild boar from the menu and gave my daughter a bite to try. To my surprise, we spent the entire night vomiting and had diarrhea the next day. When I checked out, I informed the front desk, and they apologized. Last week, I was diagnosed with Salmonella and E. coli, and since then, the diarrhea has not stopped. This was the only incident where I felt unwell. My biggest issue with them is that my ex-wife contacted them by email explaining what happened, and they played like it wasn't there where I had the problem. I find this VERY SERIOUS and am writing this so future customers are aware of this and AVOID EATING THERE because if something happens to you, the management will blame it on somebody else instead of taking actions. There are other dining options in the area that are likely to be more responsible regarding such a DELICATE MATTER. Avoid eating here.

Stunning location. Worth visiting for a coffee and checking out the amazing landscape, river, pools, pods, greenery and beautiful scene. I came for coffee and ended up staying to see the wonderful sunset from the pool area. A surprising place tucked between little villages along a river,

The staff are brilliant, the accommodation is delightful and the heated pools are superb. But, here is my very personal short list to perfection. 1. Bedside lights you can actually use for reading. 2. Tolerable audio on the flat-screen TV fixed to the wall. 3. An armchair in the living room (A recliner would be heavenly.) 4. A couple of towel rails in the bathroom to dry damp towels and costumes. 5. Sufficient hangers in the cupboard to hang clothes. 6. Restful music in the dining room rather than wailing pop stars.

Aqua Village Health Resort & SPA absolutely poor exprience from a never-to-be-guest. Yesterday 14th May 2022, after driving for no less than 2 hours, my wife and I arrived at what looked to be a fine establishment. We entered the parking and having seen no signage indicating where to park, decided to stop next to the reception where we were greeted by a friendly concierge and were told how to complete check in. We had made our reservation roughly 3 weeks prior for my wife’s birthday and had very high expectations from what is advertised to be a 5* resort. On the way from the car to the reception, I had pointed out the 32C heat to the concierge - being from South Africa as well as being well traveled, I had experienced far higher temperatures elsewhere, but it was pretty hot. We were asked to provide our identity documents and while those were being processed we were taken through a map of the resort and had the facilities explained by another front desk attendant. This is where things took a turn for the worst, having been told that this SPA had no SPA for the weekend! It was almost like the way in which you would greet a stranger in passing. This was obviously less than ideal given our expectation and sheer excitement up to that point. No SPA we asked? The response being that these facilities were undergoing maintenance, that there was some issue and as a result the SPA would remain closed for the duration of the weekend. We were also told that we could use the pool, however this does not benefit from the thermal water which the area is well known for. At no loss for words, we asked how this matter would be resolved as right then, although we were less interested in staying the weekend, we were exhausted and in dire need of freshening up. I should mention as well that at no point up to this moment, were we offered even a glass of water. I am fortunate enough to have stayed at several 5* establishments prior to this and so had some expectation of the level of service, which was clearly amis. We were asked to wait while the front desk attendant contacts the manager. I’m not quite sure how long this took but it felt like an eternity. I would guess about 15-20 minutes later we were told that the resort will do nothing to rectify the situation. I should say that we had also pointed out the fact that since 2PM on the day [it was around 5PM at the time], the staff were well aware that the SPA was going to remain closed for another 2 days, and still for some reason did not think to contact us letting us know. There was no notice of maintenance on their website and in none of the correspondence received from the resort to date, was it mentioned that maintenance would be carried out to the SPA during our intended stay. Upon asking if we could speak to the manager, again we were asked to wait as this person was not on site at the time. In the meantime as if by magic ice cold water appeared and we had finally been offered something refreshing. As we

Um Spa extremamente pequeno para a quantidade de casais que estavam lá, cheguei e não tive cadeiras disponíveis! Não é uma piscina mas sim um tanque de água! Pena pois o hotel com tanto espaço poderiam ter apostado em uma área maior! Quartos e espaço exterior óptimo mas o SPA muito a desejar! Massagens como era fim semana hotel já tinha alguns hóspedes e não tinham hipótese de marcação! Piscina interior mas com acesso exterior é de rir!!! Pequena, baixinha e ainda por cima com bancos de cimento dentro não sinalizados, meu marido foi contra um onde saiu de lá todo esfolado!

Eu tenho ido com alguma frequência ao Spa ao longo dos anos, no entanto, noto que a qualidade tem-se vindo a degradar imenso e, infelizmente, o preço tem aumentado muito. Lembro-me de pagar 8€ por uma manhã e agora o valor é de 20€ (época alta). A sauna e o banho turco funcionam muito bem e são super agradáveis. Uma nota de um familiar é que a água do chuveiro fora da sauna deveria ser mais fria :). Muitos dos dispositivos na piscina não funcionam! De 8 só 4 estavam a funcionar. Um deles não funciona desde que eu fui lá pela primeira vez! Saio sempre com um bem estar incrível, mas desta última vez fiquei desiludida com o facto de apenas metade dos dispositivos estarem a funcionar.

Já frequentei este hotel, por mais do que uma vez. Desde 2022 sensivelmente, senão me engano. É visível que a área da restauração está num estado decrescente acentuado. Serviram-nos um hambúrguer queimado para o nosso filho. Contudo, o grave, que continuo até hoje a aguardar por resposta, foi o seguinte. O meu filho com 4 anos, tem uma energia fora do comum e na correria da saída, acabamos por deixar uma t shirt de marca cara no quarto. Assim que cheguei a Lisboa, ao desfazer as malas, informei o hotel por chamada e por e-mail. Até hoje, a camisola não apareceu. Acho inadmissível um hotel de cinco estrelas, não devolver a roupa de uma criança. Nem é pelo valor, é pela atitude. Por esse motivo, jamais voltarei.

Um dos melhores hotéis em que fiquei em Portugal. Bom Staff, excelente pequeno almoço, otimo spa, com 2 piscinas interiores, uma com água termal,e, outra exterior. Área envolvente com muito ar puro, excelentes figos das figueiras existentes no terreno envolvente ao hotel. A voltar sem dúvida.

Localizado à beira do Rio Alva, com paisagem paradisíaca, esse hotel dispõe de estruturas de excelência para desfrutar desse oásis em meio à vegetação exuberante. Restaurante primoroso, apartamentos espaçosos e confortáveis, com infraestrutura para famílias, staff simpático e eficiente. Foi muito bom o dia que passamos por essa casa fora de casa.

Tudo fantástico, uma experiência muito boa. A sensação de estar na piscina semi coberta, com água quente, enquanto chovia, foi incrível. As boas-vindas e tratamento irrepreensíveis. Só tive pena de ter ficado numa suíte premium, com banheira de hidromassagem na varanda com vista para o rio, ter planeado começar o dia a usufruir da mesma, lendo um livro e às 08h da manhã em ponto, ter sido dado início a obras com retroescavadora, mesmo em frente à suite e prolongou-se toda a manhã. Ou seja, não pude usufruir do que a suíte mais tinha de diferenciador, quer em termos de experiência, quer em termos de preço da mesma. Tirando essa frustração, recomendo. Muito bom. Deixo a sugestão de mais uma luz ambiente, na zona da sala e ter piaçaba na casa de banho.

Soberbo, tranquilidade e descanso. Ótimas instalações inseridas em meio natural com requinte e qualidade. Pessoal simpatico, prestável e profissional. Limpeza excecional, pequeno almoço variado. Fácil acesso, instalações novas com termalismo que cumpre as expectativas.

O aqua village foi o sítio perfeito para as nossas férias com uma bebé de 7 meses. É o refúgio na natureza perfeito, situado num vale verdejante e nas margens de um rio, tem muitas sombras, ouvem-se os passarinhos, o correr das águas do rio e sons ds natureza, tem a sua própria praia fluvial onde é possível fazer stand up paddle e canoagem. Tem muitos sítios de lounge à beira rio, como redes e cadeirões com almofadas onde é muito relaxante ficar. Há acessos para o carrinho de bebé que percorrem toda a propriedade. Conta com 3 piscinas: uma exterior, de água salgada, uma semi-exterior aquecida (a nossa preferida para ir com a bebé) e uma interior de água termal com circuito de massagens. Por termos ficado 5 noites ofereceram-nos uma massagem Vichy e um jantar de degustação maravilhoso. A comida no bar tem uma ótima relação qualidade-preço e as quantidades são muito generosas. O pequeno almoço é muito bom, variado, com vários tipos de sumos naturais que variam ao longo dos dias e com os pratos quentes feitos na hora (ovos). No início disse que tinha intolerância à lactose e todas as refeições me advertiam se algum dos pratos que eu pedi tinha lactose e ofereciam opções sem lactose. No jantar de degustação prepararam pratos personalizados para mim sem lactose. Uma grande vantagem para nós também foi ter cozinha equipada com tudo o q é necessário e ter Room service. O serviço de house keeping é impecável e vinham quando pedíamos para não coincidir com as sestas da bebé. Não temos uma única razão de queixa. Estamos muito agradecidos por todas as atenções e o serviço de excelência que é prestado neste hotel e vamos sem dúvida regressar!
