Very welcoming excellent extra touches Rooms well thought out fantastic location for Newyn and Penzance. Would definitely return again to explore further soon. Lovely Bar area great cocktails. Looks of art and interesting shop& restaurants nearby.

the cottage and restaurant are both outstanding. we loved the quirkiness and mix of old and new. Also loved the little touches of luxury from the snack basket to the bath robes. The staff were super friendly and attentive and a star was definitely Jonathan who not only did a beautiful job greeting us and took care of all our daily needs, but also acted as a fantastic concierge and made it look like it was his pleasure to do it. He made our stay outstanding. thanks so much and we will definitely recommend your property!

We had a really lovely stay on 2 occasions as we stayed before and after visiting the isle of Scilly . Our room was fantastic , having been given an upgrade on one of the nights . The staff were great , food very nice and location was excellent . We would absolutely stay again when we next visit Penzance . Thankyou team Artist

Great location - near the swimming pool and just off the main shopping street. Friendly staff who went out of their way to be helpful. They even helped arrange taxis to get us around. There is also a nice restaurant downstairs where we ate several times. The rooms are stylishly appointed and the beds were comfortable. Our rooms were somewhat small but that was fine for our short stay.

We really enjoyed our stay, Jonathan upgraded us to a beautiful big room that we loved so much we stayed an extra night, both he and Josie made us feel so welcome and took such care of us. The hotel is in a lovely location with some very interesting shops in the same street and the harbour/promenade only a few mins. walk away. We also enjoyed an excellent evening meal there one evening. I also enjoyed the variety of art work on display. We were fortunate to get parking each evening across from the hotel.

Beautiful seaside hotel. Everything is arranged for perfect comfort - the bed is incredibly comfortable and top quality bath products. But it’s the stylish interior design that makes it so much more enjoyable, both of the rooms and the common areas. There is a sitting room where you can quietly read or play cards, with a bar for a nightcap. And the breakfast the next morning was sublime. The staff are also very friendly, with lots of local recommendations. Highly recommend.

Lovely, personable staff. The rooms are really well equipped and the mini bar and snacks thoughtfully chosen and high quality. The interior design of the rooms is thoughtful & deft which makes it all feel like a special and personal treat ..

My husband and I spent 2 nights at the Artist Residence while we were touring the SW coast of Cornwall. The accommodations, service and food are all outstanding, and the staff (in particular, Jonathan) were very helpful in giving recommendations for restaurants, hikes, where to go and where not to go, etc.! We loved our room (Chapel Suite) with its spaciousness and bay window views of Chapel Street! We were so grateful for the warm welcome and exceptional service...plus knowing we always had a great meal at our finger tips was very helpful! Thank you so much!!
