ペルージャ プラザ ホテル(Perugia Plaza Hotel)

We really loved this hotel. It has a traditional hotel feel to it, with very friendly helpful staff. We started mid July and it was very quiet, so this review may reflect that as we had the run of the pool and services due to low residency. It is situated outside of the main old town centre and of you arrive without a car as we were you will need to be of moderate fitness to walk in to the town centre as it’s a steep walk up, however there is an escalator for part of the way. I would recommend visiting the Marmore falls which you can get to from Perugia station direct via Terni. Once at terni it’s a short ride on the bus. This I would say is best to arrive early for, and spend the entire day there! Also Assisi and Solleto are two other Umbrian towns on the same train line we’ll worry a visit. Travel costs are very reasonable. Overall a great place to visit, and the Perugia hotel is a lovely place to stay. Bear in mind a bus is best to catch from the station to the hotel, as when you arrive with your luggage the pavements are in very poor condition to cart a suitcase along.

The hotel is extremely overpriced. They charged €150 per night for a couple. The breakfast is very simple and we usually left it hungry. The staff isn’t helpful and some of them were rude. The Wi-Fi connection is horrible and more often than not we had to turn it off and use our own 4G connection. The location is another downside: you have to walk up a hill for 30 min to get to the city center. It was clean, though. Only book here if this is your last option.

Average hotel. Very sp**** breakfast. No vegetables, no eggs. Possible for an additional fee. We stayed two nights, recycling cakes from the previous day. The air conditioner is set on heating only when the weather is 23 degrees during the day. An option to open a window at night is not possible since this is a hotel on a main road at the entrance to the city of Perugia. There were flies in the bathtub. Not recommended!

not within walking distance tot eh city center, need to take either taxi or bus, and the frequencies of bus of A and G is about 45 minutes each. in the city center, you will have free wifi that can browse the history of the city. The city is built on city, layer after layer from Romans to Mid, so on. Nearby cities, by train, i.e. Assisi and Spoleto are fabulous.

The hotel was clean and had everything we expected for a one night stay. Only problem was they had no record of our booking when we arrived, but luckily they found us a room no problem. The breakfast was continental buffet, overall a bit underwhelming for 4 star hotel but efficient and no complaints.

good, quiet stay

Nice pool on a hot day. In all respects a very pleasant one day visit and not too far from the centre (which is amazng by the way!)

Facilmente raggiungibile in auto e con ampia area sosta. Personale gentile disponibile e cordiale. Stanza pulita. Colazione a buffet e ben fornita. Centro storico raggiungibile anche a piedi, anche se tratto di strada in salita. Consigliato.

Hotel accogliente, pulito e ordinato. Personale gentile e professionale. Stanza calda, comoda e pulita, con diversi confort. Colazione abbondante, cibi tenuti bene e saporiti. Parcheggio auto gratuito .Un soggiorno consigliato in questa struttura per chi vuole stare tranquilli e puliti. Ottimo per la famiglia.
