Very good location. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Room clean and spacious. Spa area really good. The food at restaurant is far too expensive, however there is a Harvester restaurant just across the road.

We would never stay here again the staff were so rude there was a lady manager the was so so rude. Also there was a constant beeping noise out side our room. And about 2am in the morning whilst we were sleeping someone from reception called the room phone and said that the smoke alarm in our room was going off due to someone smoking in the room. Both me and my partner are non smokers so it clearly wasn’t use. Worst hotel experience ever.

Excellent stay

Well located but room was very hot, noisy fan system, not ideal. Would've expected air conditioned room. Not the greatest of breakfast choice. Expected more, got bang average.

An excellent hotel, well placed for us to stop off as a family on our way up to the North East. The Suite we stayed in was very clean and well appointed. I was welcomed as a Platinum member and some additional amenities were left in our room (miniatures of Beefeater Gin and Jack Daniels, alongside water and 7-Up). The front desk agent was excellent at check in, I asked for confirmation that the cot we had requested was set up in the room (my children were asleep in the car as it was around 9.30pm and we were going to attempt to carry them to their beds!) and the helpful front desk agent went to double check it was set up (it was). Breakfast the next morning was excellent, especially the hash browns! Will absolutely stay here again, I can’t fault it.

This is somewhere I got married in 2012 and I thought it was magical. The stage bent over backwards. I walked it for a meeting today and I got literally the opposite welcome sadly. I was welcomed like I’d something someone had stood in. Questioned why I’m here. U asked if I could get a coffee whilst I waited and I was sent to a bar that no one attended until 5 mins before I left. The venue is lovely the staff not so much

Just returned from a night here, and what an excellent stay. We checked in around 3.30pm on Saturday and headed for the spa and pool. It was warm, inviting and left us feeling very chilled. The room was cosy and the bed made for an excellent nights sleep. Breakfast Sunday was perfect, with lots of choice and delicious food. The staff could not have been more pleasant and friendly, from the young guys on the bar, to the front desk, spa and breakfast staff. Thank you! We will be back soon when we visit family.
