プリンス エドワード アパートメント ＆ リゾート(Prince Edouard Apartments & Resort)

I can’t make a judgement about the quality of the rooms because I showed up there around 11:45 and the place was completely vacant, lights off and everything. Knocked on the door and tried to call the number multiple times. It started thunder storming so I had to book a room somewhere nearby and walk there. They refused to refund me and stated that their cctv records show that I was there conveniently after midnight, which is a lie because I had called them before midnight.

I booked a deluxe suite with whirlpool bath. When I arrived I was told the room was not ready. The next day I was moved to a standard double room. When I asked about the room I booked I was told it was occupied and that the bath did not work anyway. When I checked out I forgot my charger and wash bag in the room I called them and had a friend who lives nearby go to collect them only fro them to say nothing was left in the room. Thieves in every sense of the word. The location is also terrible at the top of a very steep hill. I repeat DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL.

Fast check-in, not in your face service, host Anasura available if any issues by phone, room/apt was huge, cool, smart TV, good WiFi, wide window/door frontage, chairs + loungers × 2, quiet, up the hill (good aerobic exercise), swimming pool, kitchen facilities for self catering. No. 6 restaurant 100m up hill and breakfast inc. eggs any style, toast, butter/jam, watermelon, tea/coffee and yoghurt. Bottom of hill 7/11 & before end on right outdoor shop selling beer anytime vs. restricted hours. Bathroom and related fittings probably due for renewal due wear and tear, decor etc. fine; no restaurant running except breakfast, but No. 6 nearby up hill.

Even though we live in the center of the island we decided to take a rest weekend in Patong to change the routine and taking advantage of the promotions of this property, and choose this place was an excelent decision. It´s located on one of the hills of Patong so can have a great view of the city and Patong bay too; enought separate to the noise of the road but at the same time very near to the city, specially if you have a scooter. Comfortable and clean rooms with Thai style, swimming pool, western breakfast and gardens of relaxing atmosphere where can enjoy the nature of the hills. Grateful to all staffs, special mention to MEAN, at the reception, that took care us, she was very attentive and her advises about Patong city was very useful. Overall was a very nice place and we recomend it.

Corona und Sandbox machen es möglich - Urlaub in Thailand ohne Trubel, überlaufene Strände oder Verkehrschaos. Dazu noch das passende Hotel, und die 14 Tage Zwangsquarantäne verwandeln sich in reinste Erholung. Genau das ist mir mit dem Prince Edouard passiert. Vollständig ausgestattetes, großes Zimmer (Apartment), Swimmingpool vor der eigenen Terasse, Fitness, phantastische Umsorgung (zugegeben - wäre das Hotel voll wäre die Aufmerksamkeit der Angestellten mir gegenüber sicher etwas geringer als aktuell). Trotzdem fühle ich mich hier pudelwohl. Im TV gucke ich (über meinen Account) Netflix und Amazon Prime (es ist in Thailand im Hotel alles andere als üblich, Fernseher mit funktionierendem Internetzugang und aktuellen Apps zu haben). Auf meine Frage nach einem Zweitmonitor für mein Notebook tauchte sofort ein weiterer Fernseher auf, der nun als solcher den angestrengten Blick auf den kleinen Bildschirm des Laptops erspart. Und so geht das hier die ganze Zeit - kurz: ich bin begeistert! Kein Wunder, dass einige der Apartments an Dauergäste vermietet sind. Hier kann man es sich echt gut gehen lassen...
