ロードウェイ イン(Rodeway Inn)

We chose this hotel for just a quick overnight on our way to somewhere else. For an overnight it’s ok but I wouldn’t want to spend anymore time here than that. The pros the heater and air conditioner worked great, check in was easy, it wasn’t super noisy considering it’s right beside several restaurants, we found no bugs and it’s been updated some…cons the updates are minimal and not impressive, some are already falling apart, the floor was very lopsided like it’s got foundation problems the beds were fulls not queens and the blankets were quite thin

The hotel description on travelocity said breakfast included and i paid extra for that but there was no breakfast

The room I was assigned is in serious need of repair. The sink drain was broken, and the bathroom ceiling had loose hanging paint and plaster.

Room was old, impersonal, ugly. There was no phone in the room. The TV didnt work. Clerk said he had to notify the manager. TV not fixed next day. Shower handle very loose and not secured. I had to pull up on the drain stopper manually because it wouldnt stay open. This was so awful, i will never go to a Rodeway inn again. I regret trying to save a few bucks.

The hotel is ROUGH. It is relatively clean but it is not a place I would bring my wife and kids. Two cigarette burns in the sheet, towels may be original to the place, as was the blanket.

Wound up in 3 rooms. First room had no heat. Second room had 1 bed. Third room had multiple roaches. We left immediately after seeing them.

Typical budget hotel. Room was clean. People staying there long term. Area around hotel had lots of restaurants within walking distance.

I made this reservation for a wheelchair disabled Veteran participating in a DAV hunt that I run. when he arrived at the motel he said is credit card was refused. why they wouldn't accept mine I don't know but this gentleman with glocoma, who can't see well at night, drove from Circleville to Cincinnati Ohio endangering his life and the lives of others. I graded the motel low because "the local opinion" is that it has roaches, is dirty and is a good drug location. When I was relating the story many of them said don't ever send anyone there for those reasons. Frank even said while he was waiting that a woman came in the office with a roach complaint in her room. she wanted her money back so she could go elsewhere.

Faucet was broken in sink, the room phone had no phone cable so it was a paperweight i guess. I'm visually impaired and there was so little light in the room i kept kicking things.
