ラスティンガム グランジ(Lastingham Grange)

This is such a peaceful place where you can walk straight out onto the Moors. It is family run with wonderful service and genuine hospitality. Nothing is too much trouble, but it is quiet and unobtrusive. The public rooms and bedrooms are very comfortable in a traditional way, but all the nicer for it. And the food is delicious. We would definitely come back here.

Fabulous afternoon tea - staff were attentive, the setting was beautiful in the heart of the dales. We had a perfect selection of sandwiches, something to suit everyone, & the cakes were amazing - as always too many to eat so we were give a cake box to take home the ones we couldn't manage.

Hidden gem for afternoon tea in the magnificent hidden gardens of the hotel. Owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. Our dog had lots of treats as well. Picked up a jar of their own honey which did not last long

This is my 3rd visit to Lastingham Grange as I am now by myself I was very well looked after given a lovely room overlooking the garden The food once again was excellent with plenty of choice also excellent service . I hope to be able to go again next year

typical country house but in pristine condition. Beautifully clean throughout. Management should write a book on how to run a hotel properly.

We stayed at Lastingham Grange 23/06/23 we arrived mid afternoon & we’re met by one of the owners who was very polite & asked if we would like tea or coffee with a scone which we accepted we had it outside & enjoyed looking around the gardens. Our bedroom was very large with Kingsize bed very clean & well presented. We then went down for dinner which was very nice with a good wine list next morning we went out for a little walk & discovered the most wonderful walks all sign posted from the start of the North Yorkshire Moors this is a wonderful place for anyone to stay who likes long moorland walks. We then went in for breakfast which again was very nice & well presented with lots of fresh fruits practically anything anyone wanted was on the menu served personally by the owner we thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast. Some people comment it is old fashioned like old people’s home well I can assure you if you wish a nice place to stay with impeccable personal service & wish to do walking this place is very good & we will definitely be staying there again

From the moment we arrived and were treated to tea and scones on the terrace our visit was a pure delight. Our room was clean, bright and comfortable with every need catered for. Dinner was superb as was breakfast the next morning. Throughout our visit there was always a member of staff on hand if needed and everyone was smiley and helpful. It's a family run hotel and we felt like part of the family!

We booked afternoon tea here as a treat. What a delightful place! And the locations isn’t too shabby either, up on the edge of the Moors. Not too fussy - just friendly and helpful service and a wonderful spread. And it was lovely to wander round the gardens as well. Highly recommended.

We took friends to the restaurant for lunch, we sat in the delightful lounge & had pre lunch drinks and ordered our meals. Sat in the dining room for lunch, food and service excellent as usual. The steak and Stilton pie was superb, served with plenty of fresh vegetables. It is always nice to sit in the lounge after a meal & have a coffee. It is like home from home, it has a lovely character. A traditional country hotel. We will certainly be returning!
