ジ イン オン ザ リバー(The Inn on the River)

We travelled from NKY for a weekend of soccer. The Inn By The River was so accommodating and helpful that we will definitely be staying here next time. They helped arrange rooms all together for 50+ people, equipment, food etc. We had NO issues or complaints when we left.

The property is excellent. It’s well located, very clean and it offers little gadgets like cookies and popcorn that the kids love. I gave it a four because the welcoming person was very serious and not very welcoming. We also had to wait 20 minutes for our room to be ready and the some of the breakfast was a little over cooked. Besides those few things, we would stay there again.

Love the location. The staff are very nice. Sitting outside on our patio beside the river was great - even in January!

Pros-The hotel is very clean and most of the employees were nice. The place had a good breakfast selection and the fireplace in the lobby was nice to sit by and relax. Cons- check in is at 4pm and my room wasn’t ready until 4:43 pm. I was told it was due to how many check outs they had that day and plus they’re short staffed. Also, the hallways where the rooms are were very cold as there’s no heat vents. The elevators are old and need updated. Also, all guest have to travel on the 1st floor to get to breakfast and most people were loud I noticed so if you want quietness, stay on a top floor like I did.

They didn’t have a tub. After miles of walking today, I was looking forward to a nice tub soak. I also called guest services/front desk and they never answered

We loved everything about this property! It was clean, had a great breakfast, and it was conveniently located. It also gave us mountain vibes with the creek running by and the decor. We will definitely be back and we highly recommend!

You have to book and experience the cabin/ home feeling the Inn on the River provides. You will be satisfied for every dollar spent. Perfect in every way for family or just a private get-a -way. Very peaceful place.

Our first time staying but definitely won’t be our last! We loved this hotel and highly recommend it!

Beautiful property staff was very friendly, breakfast was delicious and loved being able to eat out on the patio. Popcorn was a nice treat in the afternoon. My husband and I really enjoyed sitting on our patio and watching the geese on the river. Very peaceful. Can’t wait to go back again.
