La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Pigeon Forge-Dollywood

The hotel is very nice. We were pleased overall and would likely stay again. The only complaints were that we didn't have a reservation so, on the way into Pigeon Forge I started looking at prices online and saw that this hotel was reasonable. We went in and they quoted way more than what was online and refused to match the price so, while standing there at the counter, I made my reservation online and got the better price. I don't understand why he wouldn't just make the adjustment there instead of making me go through the trouble. The other thing was that at 2:30 in the morning, the fire alarm went off and it took close to an hour to get it under control. There was no fire and we were not ever told what happened or apologized to or anything. The hotel is nice and breakfast was decent but the staff needs to be adjusted.

It was nice and convenient, only issue and I did not report it was our bathroom door was hard to open and close.

My husband, daughter, and I spent 2 nights at the Pigeon Forge La Quinta for a weekend at Dollywood. Overall it an okay experience. Location was convenient and close to Dollywood. The room was very clean, though the bed and pillows were uncomfortable to us. The breakfast was typical and the area was well maintained. Parking was adequate. The biggest problem was that the walls are paper thin. Being a pet friendly hotel there was many lonely dogs who barked and howled frequently. We could also hear our neighbors coming and going at all hours. However, we travel frequently so we always have ear plugs in our toiletry bag. Overall, it was a good choice and we would stay here again.

Vacation to Gatlinburg. Nice hotel, good breakfast, clean room, nice employees. Too much traffic for me. Came to unwind and enjoy some cold weather. Stressed out from all the traffic and rude drivers!!!

Barking dogs all day and night even after calling the front desk a couple times. Sounded like a herd of elephants above us the first night after we requested a top floor room because that seems to always happen if we don't get the top. Called to front desk and it did no good. Checked with front desk that morning when we were headed out for the day and was told they were checking out. Requested to be moved to that room and was denied and had another herd that night (if not the same people). Thought we had found a hidden gem back off the road when we first arrived only to be disappointed.

Upon entering room very sour smell in the room Had to open window to air out. The shower water pressure was TOO HIGH. The shower curtain was too long and was not effective at all as water was spraying out sides and puddling behind the toilet and the tub was not draining properly. The street lights were angled directly to room and were SO BRIGHT it was like constant daylight peering through curtains. Lastly all the bananas at breakfast were almost black and bruised all over . Totally turned my stomach for breakfast. Staff was friendly and beds comfortable

Breakfast was great. Room was small but nice. Not the fanciest hotel but it checked all the boxes for a decent rate.

Everything! Great location, very friendly employees, cleanliness, breakfast delicious, especially the waffles & egg/cheese omelet. This was my first time staying there but definitely won't be the last.
