Great place, incredible host! made me feel like at home. Very nice food. Very quiet place - ideal to breathe out. Clean and tidy. Fresh fruits and juices every day. Close to Quito and the airport. VERY safe. One of the. The best place I have stayed at in the Latin America.

Impressed, we stayed in early February 2024, Welcome – Marco and family are friendly and helpful and will go the extra mile. Bedrooms - spacious with outstandingly good mattresses and duvets and lovely views Communal seating area – upstairs with lovely views Food – delicious, good service & well presented. (We enjoyed breakfast, lunch, and dinner.) Outside area – beautiful with seating + pagoda Location – reasonably close to the airport, great for tracking Return visit – yes definitely.

Our family of five stayed in two rooms. Marco and Andres made us feel comfortable and at home. They were extremely accommodating and helped us with all our needs! Breakfast is included as well which included fresh bread, eggs made to order and fruit. The property was beautiful and there were some alpacas on site. This stay was perfect and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. 10/10 would recommend and if I come back we would definitely stay here!!

Excellent stay! Wonderful staff - personable, helpful and enjoyed meeting them. Great location, excellent food, and comfortable rooms that were clean and made us feel at home. I will defiantly be back and just want to Thank Marco and Andres and Amber for their hospitality!

We just finished up a short stay at Casa ILayaku & Marco was beyond accommodating! We utilized airport pickup/drop off and had dinner there two of our three nights. Marco arranged tours for us on our free days & allowed for a super late checkout when we had a late evening flight back to the US. Breakfast & dinners were all delish, the rooms/grounds were absolutely beautiful - we had the king room with large window looking out into the valley. By far one of our favorite places we have ever stayed at.

This place is amazing!!! We stayed as part of a trucking holiday and it was amazing. Such peace and tranquillity you feel totally at rest here. You can relax in the greens and just watch the world go by. The service and food are excellent, staff very friendly. This place was one of the highlights of the whole trip!

We were lucky enough to spend two nights at Casa Ilayaku on our way to the Galapagos. It was the perfect place to relax and hang out after a long day of travel. It is in a beautiful location up in the hills outside Quito. It is so quiet and peaceful. Andres and Marco were super helpful before and during our stay. They arranged a shuttle to pick us up at the airport, and even had a late dinner ready for us when we arrived. And the food at their restaurant was amazing. We ended up eating their the next night instead of eating in Quito because it was so easy and delicious. The property is beautiful, the rooms are great, and it was the perfect place to start our adventures in Ecuador.

Set in the hills of Cumbaya this little jewel is unlike a hotel and much like a large home with very hospitable hosts. Mr. Marcos the owner and Andres the operating partner attend to the smallest of details to make your visit memorable. The view from the outside of the place is quite striking with an assortment of hummingbirds that frequent the numerous fruiting and flower trees against a backdrop of a good sized hill that have homes on its slope. The place is convenient to the airport and can save the tourist some valuable time in bypassing Quito traffic when headed to Mindo or Cotapaxi.

Casa Ilayaku was an amazing place to stay, we used it as headquarters for our volcano mountaineering activities, Marco would adapt to whatever our needs and make us feel at home! Cannot recommend it enough.
