I visited the El Dorado Maroma with my friend for a week in January 2023. Believe me, this is the best resort ever! I have stayed at many all-inclusive resorts in the Cancun/Riviera Maya area, and this resort outranks all others! The service is simply amazing, from the second you arrive until you have to leave. We absolutely loved Manuel at the beach, who greeted us each morning and walked out with us to help us find the perfect spot for the day. He didn’t just hand us our towels - he laid them out for us on the loungers or the bali bed chosen, then adjusted the umbrella so we could be in the shade, as we preferred. He then continued checking on us throughout the day and adjusting our umbrella as the sun moved. Talk about being pampered! He was wonderful! We also loved Little D (Diego) at the beach, who brought us drinks and made us smile - he seems so happy to be there! I can’t forget to mention the beach - it is the best beach of any resort I have stayed at! Clean, white sand, and so few people. That’s another great thing about this resort - no crowds!! It is small, quiet and relaxing. So peaceful! If you want a party resort, this is not it. It was perfect for us! Overall, you will not be sorry if you choose this resort!!! We loved it and will return again, hopefully soon, and hopefully with my hubby next time! I can’t wait to hear those wonderful friends tell me “Welcome Home”!

Just returned from this Fabulous Beach resort. This resort is much smaller/personal than El Dorado Royale. I like the personal touch -- but missed the extra food/restaurant options. Beach was fantastic -- large area with softest sand imaginable. Bali beds available -- if you reserved it early enough. We did the Maroma Catamaran/Snorkeling tour -- and had a great time! Some Shout-Outs: Augustin: Manager at Papito's. He remembers you and has the friendliest personality. Enjoyed the Tequila Tasting/Education experience with him Manuel: Beach Service. This man doesn't know how to walk. He is always running to bring the best service Karen: Beach Drinks Service -- always available and quick. She kept coming all day! Marbel: Butler -- she was on top of it and addressed every need. David: Concierge -- very responsive. Ezequiel, Randy & Eric: Great service at Pappito's Cleo: Room Cleaning -- room was in great condition THANK YOU!

In my view our was not ready or checked , a number of issues outlined to the management,which they finally addressed and resolved after 2 days. Which the general manager finally resolved after various managers representatives failed to resolve. Once the manager had a clear direction it was sort with a spectacular upgrade. General comments Beach fabulous Main Pool cool in the morning but better in afternoon sun Facilities very good Restaurants, best being the Caribbean and the Italian Service excellent Would I stay again, yes Negative is the under utilised Ricky's bar, could do much more with this space

We had a complementary upgrade by the most professional management at Eldorado beach . The service was excellent and our Bungalow 1614 was everything and more you would expect from this exclusive resort. Our 2 Butlers Pillar and Ammie did everything for us during our day. The sunset view was spectacular. My only negative comment was the scrambled eggs and the texture of the steak But many more positives, the stunning views,dip pool, access to shallow water from your bungalow We will be back

We travelled here to celebrate my 50th birthday, the hotel and grounds are immaculate and the beach is beautiful. Staff work extremely hard and provide an excellent service. Our swim up room was perfect and very spacious. The choices of food in all the restaurants were superb although my favourite was breakfast at Lima Limon. The Mexican fiesta was very well organized and you could tell how much effort was made by the hotel staff. I would definitely stay here again.

Amazing honeymoon at El Dorado Maroma. The hotel is absolutely incredible, rooms are so spacious and clean and the bed is super comfy. The staff are all so friendly and polite and can’t do enough for you. The restaurants are amazing and food is delicious. Take a trip to Palafitos restaurant while you are there it is a beautiful setting for a romantic meal. The beach is absolutely gorgeous and the perfect setting for a honeymoon. So much to do but also plenty of time to relax and enjoy the gorgeous weather and surroundings. Special mention to some of the staff who made our visit: Maria Dennys Hazael Chris Octavio Alex Randy Marco Felipe All staff were so helpful and kind and would always ask if we needed anything. We can’t wait to come back to the resort and would recommend to everyone.

I can’t rave enough about this resort and its staff!! I’ve never traveled anywhere in the world that makes you feel more at home than Maroma. The entertainment staff is absolutely amazing (Octavio, Chris, Hazeal) made every day and night exciting and special. The bar tenders are 2nd to none ( Rene, Solema, Karen, Filipe) The servers are always on top of things ( Arturo, Jesus, Chepina, Eduardo) the spa is definitely worth a visit and I highly recommend Patricia & Liliana. Last but not least the beach staff will always be there for you (Manuel, Eli)

Wonderful time doing yoga with Fabiola a coping of mornings while here. It was a very relaxing and peaceful way to start the day!

Following a terrific week at El Dorado Maroma one year ago we returned in April, this time as Exotic Travelers members, for an even more satisfying stay. We selected a spacious and well designed private pool suite, with a much-appreciated outdoor shower. Service throughout our stay was consistently welcoming and professional, with special thanks to our always-attentive butlers, Enrique and Marbel. Thanks also to Augustin at Pepito’s and to Adrian, Alexander and the other members of the superb entertainment team. Meals at all of the restaurants were uniformly excellent and enjoyable. We especially liked the convenient and delicious poolside lunches - paella, ceviche, barbecue and tacos - and the amazing beachside Mexican fiesta. Our plan had been to spend several days exploring Mayan sights and local cenotes, but the allure of the resort makes it too difficult to pull away. The superb facilities, unparalleled beach, and lush landscaping are all standouts, but the genuine warmth and graciousness of the staff is what really sets this resort apart.
