Perfect location. Away from the hustle and bustle of the main ***** yet a meat 5/10 mins away from everything. Check in was easy. The lady on reception had perfect English. The bungalows are all no more than a 30 second walk from the pool, no matter where you are located in the complex. The bungalows are very well equipped. Nice spacious bathroom with walk in shower. Towels are provided and cleaning service is 5/7 days. The extra towels for the pool supplied were a welcome bonus. The room even though they are smaller that the images would have you believe are still spacious enough. Single beds, which are the norm in most places, can easily be put together. Large living area which our 12 year old slept in was comfy. The tv has 3 English speaking channels but the tv only went on once during our stay anyway. The pool was fab. Clean and with a lifeguard on duty ever day. The jacuzzi was huge and warm. We ate breakfast once in the restaurant. Loads of choice. Hot and cold. Tea and coffee with the added bonus of a machine for latte/ cappuccino ect. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The lunch menu while small was sufficient. Very reasonable and everything was tasty and hot. The cheese and ham toastie with chips was delicious and at €4:50 was a bargain. Ther is a bus stop literally on the doorstep. The dino market is around the corner and the Yumbo center is about 5 mins walk. We enjoyed our stay and couldn’t fault the place. We are already planning a return trip later in the year.

While thigns look ok on the surface of it, pretty much everything here needs some improving, fixing, renovating or changing. Each deficiancy by itself was not that serious, and could be shrugged off as a random quirk, but when the list of issues just gets longer and longer, and longer, and longer... it really starts to add up: -old, broken, dirty furniture inside the bungalow -dirty, broken yard furniture -no well placed power sockets to charge phones or other devices. -Front door was so crooked (like 1,5 inches) you could barely open it and it had a huge gap on top of it. -beat up, dirty, cracked walls -moldy ceilings -blinking/non-working lights -sticky dirty sunbeds -beach towels were so old and worn you could see through them. Also had holes. -whenever the toilet paper ran out, the cleaning ladies didn't replace it -handsoap ran out and cleaning ladies didn't replace it -cleaning ladies took our towels and didn't give new ones -safe looked severely banged and like it's from the 60's. -shower was so narrow and cramped I barely fit there. -no double beds so we needed to push them together. Cleaning ladies pulled them back apart. There were three different people on the reception: one nice, helpful woman, one grumby older, unpleasant guy and one woman that didn't speak english. When we informed the staff about the lack of soap, we were told it's ran out, tough luck. When we mentioned about the blinking bathroom light, it never got fixed. We needed to go ask for more toilet paper multiple times, which is kinda humiliating. We paid thousands of euros to be here and have a nice, relaxing holiday and this was not what we expected for the level of quality or service. On a more positive note, most of the cleaning and other staff was nice and friendly. Garden/pool area with jacuzzi was beautiful and well kept. That's it. Never again.

Went there in February with my kids and my daughter had to go to the emergency room in the middle of the night because a bug bit her on the lip and it got swollen and numb. We had a superior bungalow but there was nothing superior about it, big cracks around the entrance door, bad smell in the rooms, mold on the walls, poorly maintained appliances and furniture. For the price we paid, plus 500 euro at the emergency hospital, it was a just a great disappointment and we regret choosing this place. I advise you to stay away. Edit after the reply received from Cordial Biarritz… I saw the response from Cordial Biarritz and I can share again they do not care about the individual needs and the facts, also not about doing something real to change the situation. They wrote to me personally the same massage that I should have come to the reception to announce and get support. And even though I explained them that there was nobody to come to in the middle of the night when we had the issue, they did not even bother to respond back and send a similar reply in the review. First of all, I expect that when I pay extra for a superior bungalow, I expect at lest it is well maintained and bug free….not that I have to come and inform them about this, after I was asked to pay the trip in full before stepping past the reception. One thing I forgot to mention is the playground that also attracted us when choosing for this place, but again a massive disappointment to see the wood in the playground was full of splinters where the kids where getting hurt. Second, there is no staff during the night and the passage outside via the reception is closed. I was lucky I figured out how to get out in the middle of the night with my daughter, via a side door, that was nowhere announced! So, no one at the reception to support or at least help get a taxi in an emergency situation, door closed with no proper information on how to get out, accommodation poorly maintained with cracks where bugs can come in the bungalows during the night and from the response it seems like it was my fault I did not inform them. Outrageous!!!

Another great holiday, the third time we have stayed here. Large bungalows with a large terrace with sunbeds, situated round the pool. Staff very friendly and helpful and the location convenient for supermarkets, Yumbo and Cita centres. An 8 min walk to the beach. Whole complex is well cared for. Even though it is so close to everything the complex is safe and quiet.

Lovely and clean ,great grounds ,great location . Staff friendly enough . The bungalow maybe could do with a lick of paint ,but that is being fussy . Nice touch is every bungalow has allocted sun loungers on your little terrace . Laundry room 4.50 euros for a load We thought the place was good value would return

First time at Cordial Biarritz bungalows although been coming to Gran Can every winter for last ten years. We booked one bed bungalow which was as described and exactly same as all photos shown here, I would agree that yes furniture is a bit worn around the edges but that did not put us off. Vey spacious bungalow and well equipped, good kitchen and nice terrace with table and chairs and sun loungers. However the best bit of the complex is undoubtedly the gardens and grounds which are immaculate. Unfortunately we were burgled two nights into our break whilst we were out for dinner, thankfully everything was locked in our safe and they took nothing but it was traumatic to come home and find the place turned over, they had broken in through the sliding patio doors. I have to say though that both jet2 and the complex staff couldnt have been more helpful and supportive, the resort manager even calling a taxi and taking us to the local police station to report the break in and translating everything for us, in addition reception and the night securty guard always looking out for you and making sure we were ok .we asked to be moved and we were given a 2 bed superior bungalow in middle of complex nearer to the pool area. This allowed us to compare normal bungalow to superior and there is no difference at all apart from beach towels being in the room, a free safe and air con which we dont like anyway! the safe amounts to 14 euros to pay for it for the week so it hardly breaks the bank but there is a substantial difference in cost when booking the two different options, I would say stick with the basic! We booked breakfast for the week which was perfectly adequate however the one member of staff on duty is kept very busy with restocking food, clearing tables and dish washing, sometimes there was a long gap between stocking of the buffet and there were no fried eggs or bacon etc, they need an additional staff member to help out. We used the pool bar for a couple of lunches and it was excellent and very reasonable in price, big food portions! We didnt let the break in spoil our holiday and it hasnt put us off returning, we have already booked for next Jan for 9 nights and we are very much looking forward to returning.

The bungalows are very clean and tidy due to the endless amount of work the cleaners do however, bungalows need some updating such as painting the walls and modernising the furniture as it is very tired. We stayed in bungalow 116 (a basic 1 bed bungalow) for 2 weeks and it was very noisy all day and night with buses, people walking past at night after coming out of the yumbo centre, motorbikes and cars passing by. However, if you’re thinking of staying here opt for a superior room and you get noise proof glass in your private garden. The positives of the bungalows is that it is a 5 minute walk to the yumbo centre and about 10-15 to the beach. We arrived here after 10pm and lights are needed coming out off reception going down the steps to the pool as someone could seriously injure themselves by missing a step especially with suitcases. We also had difficulty finding our room as there was no sufficient light (use torch on your phone). Another thing is that there are no parasols for cover during the day however there is a tree for a small amount of shade. The bungalows have a small terrace and a large terrace with some grass. The hotel has 3 tennis courts and a large mini golf facility which is lovely. If you get a basic room it comes without air con which is an additional charge of €15.30 per day. The pool looked lovely however, we never got to sit by the pool due to high temperatures, no parasols and also due to the lack of sunbeds around the pool because people would reserve them all day and only turn up at dinner time. Staff are friendly and can help with any issue. Overall, the bungalows were lovely with a nice complex. I would come back.

Brilliant bungalows all lovely and very clean. The pool and pool area were amazing .We even had towels for our sun beds by the pool .Bedding and towels changed several times a week and rooms cleaned 🧹. Staff were all lovely. Will definitely be going back
