Breakfast was very nice and evening bar service well received. Walking distance to menin gate, around 20-23 mins. Would recommend.

Simple and nice hotel in golf court.. alot of parking and convinient for travellers with car..

Hotel is located in an Industrial estate about a 25 min walk to the centre of Ypres. There isn’t a pavment but plenty of places to walk without being on the road. Rooms are cosy enough and buffet breakfast was excellent. Some hot options like scrambled egg and bacon and the orange juice freshly squeezed by the fancy machine was delicious. We left our motorbikes directly in front of the hotel and hoping they are still there. (We are confident they will be!). The one criticism I have is regarding the reception. We went past reception multiple times sorting things out with our bikes and not once did the lady in reception look up and say hello or good evening.

The hotel is modern and clean. Nothing stands out, but, it is very good all round. Breakfast is also great with good variety and the staff are all very helpful. Room is comfortable with air conditioning that works well. It is well based to visit the numerous war cemeteries and memorials around the area.

Rooms were adequate English tv and tea and coffee. Food was delicious. Staff friendly and accommodating. Dont be put off by the area it is based in. More like a Youth Hostel so be prepared for groups of teenagers. There is a bar to have drinks and coffee before and after the meal.

First impressions of the hotel were good, ample off road parking and hotel has a reasonable curb appeal. I arrived at 20.35 and was denied dinner (they stop serving at 20.30 apparently) so I had to drive a mile or so into the centre to get some food. My room was OK ( strangely there were tea/coffee making facilities in the room but no milk portions-maybe this is a British thing). On my return from dinner all hell had broken loose, there were 4 coach loads of teenagers rampaging up and down the corridors both outside and above my room, not conducive to a good night's sleep, the reception reluctantly moved me to another room which was much quieter (why they put a business booking in amongst school groups in the first place remains a mystery). All was well until I woke to discover there were no bath towels in the room. Another visit to reception and this was sorted out. Breakfast was a good choice of continental and cooked offerings. The best bit about this hotel was the freshly squeezed orange juice machine. As a hostel or school group place I would say it was OK here but it can't justify the €100 a night price tag when they are mixing business customers in with school groups. For this reason I wouldn't reccomend this place for business travellers, couples or families.

Very good hotel. Catered well for our party from Wolverton Town Council on our biannual twinning tour. Well placed for touring the ww1 sites. Easy to get there by our hired coach and ferry crossing from the Channel. Good food was laid on on our arrival.

first of all, as soon as we arrived (me and my friends) the outside of the hotel stunk of egg! i thought it was just the air but as i walked inside, the whole place STUNK OF EGG! i was not impressed by this putrid smell. that is not all, as soon as i entered the room i saw a yellow, sticky substance on the floor by the window and a white substance covered the curtains (as you can see in the images!) the place looked like a crime scene, one of the houses ive seen on a true crime documentary, it was awful! we had our food that night (in the lodge) and the “ham” they gave us smelt and tasted like uncooked hotdogs, the potatoes were battered and a neon yellowish green colour and the peas were shrivelled and raw. during my not so peaceful sleep, my door was banged on multiple times by a random stranger and it was awful. on the positive side, the delinut spread they gave us hit DIFFERENT🔥 just for your information, i will not be staying here again.

i hated this place, there is mold in the corner of the room. There is 6 beds and we couldn’t even fit a suitcase on it.VERY cramp. Dust in the extractor fan. It was like they forgot to clean it. Dif pov: I came here for a school trip and i didn’t have super high expectations as its just 3 stars, but this was AWFUL. There is actual MOLD in the w corner pf my room, a circular stain in the bathroom, there’s no proper layout for the beds its just 5 single beds shoved into one cramped room and the bathroom is covered in dust. Please dont come here unless you really need to Ps. From the first paragraph there is spiderwebs and i hate it here. I heard the food it TERRIBLE so don’t come here please
