The rooms are ok, a bit outdated, my only complained is that the elevator is not functioning, the front desk will help you with your luggage but the point is I saw lots of elderly having a hard time going up and down the stairs.

Had a lovely stay at the Ramada resort, the staff were friendly from the moment I arrived to when I left, the room was super clean and the restaurant was lovely. Would highly recommend and will definitely be visiting again.

Highly recommend the Ramada at Port Douglas, what a beautiful tropical resort to stay at, we loved it sooo much. The room was huge and luxurious and had a full sized kitchen which made it a wonderful place to base our holiday. The restaurant and bar by the pool was so relaxing and the foods we experienced were of high quality and fresh. We loved it and would stay again.

The lagoon pool and swim up bar made the trip just awesome. Having a restaurant right next to the pool was so handy. Wonderful staff and a very convenient location also. The facilities were really great, gym and bike hire was so handy for a bit of exercise. We would definitely come here again.

Excellent facilities and reception staff. Enjoyed 6 nights with friends who had gathered from across the world. Only disappointing issue was finding a Cane Toad in the unit on arrival. Excellent base for our visit to both the outer Gt Barrier Reef and the Daintree tropical rain forest.

We could not fault this place, excellent service, rooms are great, food and drinks excellent, close to the beach and quiet. Poolside is a treat and other free options available. Trip to town centre is $5 on the local bus services, so you can have a few drinks. Ramada restaurant is excellent and well priced.

This place has great facilities and nice staff. The restaurant temps you to stay in the resort food is so good. Swim up bar in the pool is a great idea. Pool was One of the better ones we have experienced globally. Rooms were spacious enough with everything supplied. The only reason I didn’t give 5/5 was internet/wifi is poor and they kept trying to get us to join the time share thing even though we explained we’ve done the presentation before and are not interested at all. Other than those two things and it being a bit of a drive from town, it’s great!

This a harsher review than I would normally write. But I see others think similarly to me. The publicity and photos portray luxury. This is not luxurious and is unnervingly spartan in what it offers. Perhaps 3 star. It’s not altogether managements fault. There are practically no balconies and the rooms have no outlook. Such a shame when in the middle of the place, there is lush and pretty plant life. I am a Wyndham owner and have been for many years. But I have never encountered such meanness. Appliances in our room- virtually none. Not even a toaster on offer. As others have said, no thought given to how to dry beach or pool clothes. Charging owners for use of laundry is pusilanimous. My message to readers and management. The greatest asset here is the staff- helpful and courteous. But for Wyndham, this is a bad look and the facility needs a splash of generosity in approach and acceptable service.

Beautiful hotel set in a lush green garden with wooden boardwalks and bridges. A beautiful tropical pool next to the restaurant. Perfectly located near the 4 mile beach and within walking distance to port Douglas city centre and harbour. Friendly and helpful staff. Don’t miss the beautiful Sunday market! Recommend dinner at seaside Hemingway ot the Tin Shed. Recommend breakfast at St Crispins or The little larder. Beautiful stay in paradise!

Ramada by Wyndham in Port Douglas was a great location from which to explore the Barrier Reef and the Daintree, and it was a really relaxing place to stay - great swimming pool, delightful grounds, and an easy walk to the beach
