We stayed here for our 10th wedding anniversary along with our 4 kids (8,6,3 and 1.5). Our youngest is special needs. The resort was easy to navigate with our youngest requiring a pram. We had a few steps to navigate up to our villa but that was manageable and there was a bedroom downstairs to save us having to take her up and down in the villa. We especially loved the heated pool and spa facilities for ourselves and our water loving kids. Often, we stay places where even in summer the pool is too cold to use. The Wyndham pool was great! Not too warm for the summer days but enough that you could hang around in the pool all night if you wanted and not get cold. The spa was divine and nice and hot - maybe too hot for the summer days but great to relax in after a day out sightseeing. Henry's had a good offering of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages (especially cocktails and mocktails!) and we loved making the most of happy hour every day. The menu selection was decent but if I had to eat there every day, I'd get over it pretty quick as it's not a huge variety of stuff. Overall, the restaurant/bar is well decorated, and I loved the option of dining inside or poolside outdoors was lovely. The resort offered kids bikes, free slushies every day, board games and a kid's playroom which was great. The kid's playroom probably needs a little refresh for example the offering of games for the PS4 (or maybe upgrade to newer consoles?). It was a bit tricky to work out how to get the PlayStation working. The boardgames are a bit tired and probably need some more classics like a tabletop version of connect 4 etc. Aside from the big connect 4 in the playroom there wasn't much to occupy a younger kid say 4 and under so I'd recommend maybe a couple more things for younger kids in the kids' room.
