I'm not sure what their house keeping policy is but the first day i requested house keeping i was told they will be coming to clean up the rooms at 8:00am in the morning but if we don't request sometimes we can go 2/3 days without house keeping and we have never seen them earlier , they usually come after 2 pm even at 4/5pm and it's so frustrating. They don't even come to empty the bins in those 2 days. The other day i had to call the reception thrice ( an hour and 30 minutes inbetween). Sometimes they forget to leave the towels etc. I just can't wait to leave this place.
It was my first time to check-in at the Hilton Port Moresby. I love how the staff were accommodating and friendly. Bad experience: I wanted to drink some tea but the electronic kettle was dirty and greasy (see photo). I had to follow up multiple times. Good experience: My cabinet got stuck but the maintenance fix it for me and left me a note. In general, I enjoyed my stay.:)
The service is very good and the staff are really friendly and helpful even the rooms is clean and comfortable. The location is also great and very close to the field .Nice restaurant and great food. I recommend it for anyone looking for a holiday spot in PNG.
