Exceptional customer service from Igor, I was pleasantly surprised he upgraded me to a one bedroom for my 4 day sojourn, fabulous pool, easy walking distance to Praia Rocha ,town train station highly recommend a stay for a few nights or long term stay  Felt like I was a valued guest

Todo muy descuidado y sucio y aunque de manera amable el chico de recepción me cambió de habitación la otra estaba igual o peor. Dijeron que vendrían a limpiar y solo tocaron una parte el resto seguía igual y al quejarme me dijeron que el equipo hacía lo que podía. La verdad decepcionante.

Tarik Accommodation in Portimão, Portugal I had a very disappointing experience during my recent stay. The apartment was extremely dirty on arrival. There was a strong, unpleasant smell as soon as I entered, and it was clear that the property had not been properly cleaned or prepared for guests. It was very uncomfortable and not what was advertised. I arrived at around 1:00 AM after a long journey, and I was then told at the reception that I had to work approximately 15 minutes to reach my apartment, even though there was a reception desk in the same building where my apartment was located. This was completely unacceptable and very poorly organized, especially at that time of night. I was traveling with my 12-year-old son, and being asked to walk in a foreign country at 1:00 AM with a child was extremely stressful and disappointing. There was no proper organization, no clear communication, and no consideration of respect shown to guests. I would not recommend Tarik accommodation in Portugal, Portimão and would not stay here again.

This is our third time here as the location is fantastic if you are a beach lover! The apartments are in a residential block that is really clean, and always smells nice. Everyone should be aware that you have to register, pay your tourist tax and 200 euro deposit at another hotel, the plaza real, which is approx 3/4 mile walk away ( we just get an uber there and back). There is no tourist reception in The Tarik, and the concierge does not speak English, so any issues need to be reported to the plaza real. The apartments all have kitchenettes with hob, microwave, toaster, coffee machine and kettle. They are basic apartments but have good sized bathrooms and comfy beds. Our balcony did not have any furniture on it this time. It did not bother us as the nights were quite cool during our stay so did not use balcony. There is a supermarket 50 metres from the apartments, with restaurants, bars and the beach 100 metres away, up a hill. Access to beach is down steps, as is most of the Algarve ,so not good for anyone with walking difficulties. But if you want a basic, clean apartment i would recommend the tarik.

Location was spot on, 300 metres to the beach and all the restaurants and bars. Although basic for the price we paid we had everything we needed a bed and shower! Only downside was having to collect the key from another hotel but our transfer was happy to take us there and wait while we checked in - which was a massive help as it was midnight when we arrived.

The room was cold without heating and the bathroom windows would not shut which didn’t help the cold at this time of year (November) There was no parking as most of the car park was dug up but we had checked and it said parking available

Was in room 1906 19th floor what a view. Studio was amazing.Comfy bed very clean,small kitchen with everything you need. Wonderful stay and would highly recommend Thankyou to the Ttarik Ishbell

First things first, when you check in to the accommodation you have to go to another hotel to pick up your keys called Atlantic Hotels so you should probably go there first instead if wasting your time initially going directly to the accommodation. This is something that should be communicated with guest prior to their arrival to make it seamless for everyone. In addition, you have to take the key back to the alternative accommodation to check out and you’re only allowed to leave your bags there. You have to pay a €200 security deposit which the hotel holds if you break anything in the property including the door ( which is a bit difficult to use) and anything else in the property I.e furniture or if you make too much noise! The property is within a residential block and other locals stay here. I had an issue with my key but luckily they were able to fix this remotely. This almost feels like a trap and they are just waiting for you to mess up to not give you back your deposit. I was staying on the 16th floor but please note there’s two lifts to get to the same floor but my room was through a separate door which wasn’t clearly signposted. Everything appeared quite dusty in the room from the chairs to the sofa bed and the floor. Please note there wasn’t a balcony which was advertised on the listing. Luckily the bathroom was ok although the shower holder was too high for me to place and I’m 5ft. Once in the shower it’s quite dark and there’s no where to place your shower gel or soap. The water was hot and the water pressure was ok. A neighbour who was staying a few doors down 1610 accommodation was a larger layout, however the bathroom smelled musty and damp. Logistically there’s not enough plug sockets in the room. There’s no air corn other than a large fan which was sufficient but noisy. The bed was reasonably comfortable but there’s only a mirror in the bathroom and no where else. The property would benefit from a full length mirror in the bedroom. Could ideally do with some drawers or some type of dresser to put your toiletries in and make up as there’s no table to put your belongings in the bedroom. Please note, there’s currently building work being carried out next to the accommodation that’s noisy and districting. Location great, but everything else could be improved.

Arrived midnight. Then had to walk a mile to pay an extra €200 as a deposit Which 10 days later I still haven't seen returned into my account after being assured that it would be 2-3 days. I know now it's in the small print but surely they can wait till the next day to fleece me 😒
