Exceptional customer service from Igor, I was pleasantly surprised he upgraded me to a one bedroom for my 4 day sojourn, fabulous pool, easy walking distance to Praia Rocha ,town train station highly recommend a stay for a few nights or long term stay  Felt like I was a valued guest

Wonderful place to stay. Very close to Praia da Rocha, supermarkets, coffee shops, restaurants and bars. I really recommend staying here in this apartment.

Todo muy descuidado y sucio y aunque de manera amable el chico de recepción me cambió de habitación la otra estaba igual o peor. Dijeron que vendrían a limpiar y solo tocaron una parte el resto seguía igual y al quejarme me dijeron que el equipo hacía lo que podía. La verdad decepcionante.

O fato de não fazer o check in/out no lugar é muito desconfortável. Não é hotel, não chamem de hotel, são quartos num edificio. Eu quero saber se às despesas ocasionadas por esto voces devolvem. Pelo resto esta tudo perfeito localização, comodidade, enfim. Espero que avisem aos passageiros o primeiro endereço para não termos que ir é voltar. Obrigada.

Was in room 1906 19th floor what a view. Studio was amazing.Comfy bed very clean,small kitchen with everything you need. Wonderful stay and would highly recommend Thankyou to the Ttarik Ishbell

First things first, when you check in to the accommodation you have to go to another hotel to pick up your keys called Atlantic Hotels so you should probably go there first instead if wasting your time initially going directly to the accommodation. This is something that should be communicated with guest prior to their arrival to make it seamless for everyone. In addition, you have to take the key back to the alternative accommodation to check out and you’re only allowed to leave your bags there. You have to pay a €200 security deposit which the hotel holds if you break anything in the property including the door ( which is a bit difficult to use) and anything else in the property I.e furniture or if you make too much noise! The property is within a residential block and other locals stay here. I had an issue with my key but luckily they were able to fix this remotely. This almost feels like a trap and they are just waiting for you to mess up to not give you back your deposit. I was staying on the 16th floor but please note there’s two lifts to get to the same floor but my room was through a separate door which wasn’t clearly signposted. Everything appeared quite dusty in the room from the chairs to the sofa bed and the floor. Please note there wasn’t a balcony which was advertised on the listing. Luckily the bathroom was ok although the shower holder was too high for me to place and I’m 5ft. Once in the shower it’s quite dark and there’s no where to place your shower gel or soap. The water was hot and the water pressure was ok. A neighbour who was staying a few doors down 1610 accommodation was a larger layout, however the bathroom smelled musty and damp. Logistically there’s not enough plug sockets in the room. There’s no air corn other than a large fan which was sufficient but noisy. The bed was reasonably comfortable but there’s only a mirror in the bathroom and no where else. The property would benefit from a full length mirror in the bedroom. Could ideally do with some drawers or some type of dresser to put your toiletries in and make up as there’s no table to put your belongings in the bedroom. Please note, there’s currently building work being carried out next to the accommodation that’s noisy and districting. Location great, but everything else could be improved.

Arrived midnight. Then had to walk a mile to pay an extra €200 as a deposit Which 10 days later I still haven't seen returned into my account after being assured that it would be 2-3 days. I know now it's in the small print but surely they can wait till the next day to fleece me 😒

This place is disgusting, dirty and not suitable for children. The receptionist was not helpful and doesn’t speak any English even though it clearly states on the website that they can speak English and French. This place is not a hotel it’s some kind of residential for people who live permanently. Furthermore, there is no parking at the premises. It’s a 21 story block and it stinks like hell. The pictures are deceiving not one of the pictures displayed on the website were actually true. I have been scammed into believing that this dump is anything like the pictures shown. I had to book another hotel elsewhere and even after all that, love holidays refused to refund me and they said that there is nothing wrong with the accommodation. Please see the real photos of the accommodation I have displayed. I highly DO NOT recommend this gruesome dump.

The wright up this hotel has on loveholidays, it is a load of rubbish. Bus let us of at a normal bus stop & told us to walk back & go up round the corner, took about 10mins, when we got there, the guy on reception couldnt speak english, he had to translate using his phone, then he sent us to another hotel so we could book in (20min walk) then we had to go back to the fist hotel & thats where our room is. Wasnt the cleanest, bathroom very basic & not very clean, shower was crap & soaked the floor

I feel the review by Bronny2 Camelford, United Kingdom in Oct 2023 is fair and people need to read her assessment before booking Tarik by Atlantichotels. It is year on and nothing has changed. It has to be the longest distance between a room and reception going. I find it hard to believe Atlantichotels cannot come up with a better solution for booking clients in and out. Atlantichotels have 40 apartments in the Tarik which is more than some hotels have rooms. There are several what apppear to be unused rooms on the ground floor, one of which they could rent and use as a reception. Atlantichotels need to recognise that first impressions are often the strongest

Large 21storey appartment block in central praia da rocha. Good entrance hall good lifts.games room on ground floor. Small rooms and balconies with bathroom shower kitchenette no toaster.24hr security.good location 5mins strip 5mins beach.

Me and my mum arrived here from 4-7th March. We got dropped off by our transfer which was all booked through love holidays. One hour in a small crammed van seating 9 people. We were the last to get dropped off and once we got into reception we asked to check in and the man on the desk just looked at us and told us no (didn’t speak a word of English) so we asked what he meant by that which he just shrugged his shoulders. He then pointed at a map on the desk and pointed to a destination which was roughly a mile away. So I called our transfer company and they said they knew nothing about it. So I then tried to locate the place he was pointing at. It was another hotel by Atlantichotels. I called and the woman on that desk was lovely and spoke very good English to which she told us we had to walk there to collect the keys to check in to our apartment. All the man on my hotel reception done though was look at us and shrug which was very rude and unhelpful. So we ended up walking upto this hotel with our suitcases because our receptionist said he can’t take out luggage while we walked there. We got the keys and a code which unlocks our door (both which you need to use) but the woman wanted €200 from us as a deposit incase “we break anything” but as we were only there for 3 nights we only brought €250 so we told her no as we would only have 50 left to do us. Once we got a taxi back the reception at our place was closed with barriers down at the desk. Again not very helpful because what if someone came to check in. We walked into the room and immediately was disgusted. Coffee stains on the coffee table, dirty floor, a “mopped” bathroom which has streaks on it. Cracked tiles, a big dark stain on the curtain, a ***** hair on the bed sheets, mould in the creases where the window opens. Just not great at all and not once did any housekeeper or maid come in so we had to use the same towels for 4 days. Don’t get me wrong the area itself it beautiful, we went at the wrong time of year tho as a lot of it was closed or quiet but those Atlantichotels is not the place to be. Go elsewhere.
