オテル ホルツァー II(Holzer II)

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. It was conveniently located off the highway and there was off street parking. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Our room was nicely decorated but extremely small. It was at the back of the property and we had to cross a small landing to another building to access it. The bathroom was modern and a good size. There was no onsite eating options.

The location is perfect: you are two minutes away from all the night action but this part of the street is in a relative calm, they have a huge public parking lot 100 m away, and they have their own parking lot. The room was comfortable, and very clean, probably a little tight but as expected. The staff is very friendly, and their breakfast is pretty good. When we como back to Porto Vecchio this will be our option.

Having checked-in to the property, paid the property tax, paid for breakfast the next day, I was subsequently informed that as I’d undertaken some trekking on the island of Corsica, I could not take my bag to my room due to the “risk of it being infected with bed bugs”. I was told I could only take a very small plastic bag of clothes and the rest of my luggage would need to remain downstairs next to reception in a tiny room where the left-luggage was. Not only was this completely impractical (I was leaving early the next day after 3-weeks on the island and needed to carefully pack my bags ready for multiple flights early the next morning), but it was also actually unfair of the hotel to only inform me about this “restriction” after I’d checked in. I voiced my dissatisfaction with the situation to the hotel manager and he offered to cancel the entire booking without charge. I then went to stay down the road at the Tilbury Hotel where no such restrictions existed. In fact, no such restrictions existed anywhere else on the island during my 3-week stay despite the owner trying to claim it was “standard policy”. Imagine my surprise when the hotel then fully charged me! I’ve since contacted them on numerous occasions to demand a full refund and thus far they’ve only offered 50%. This, of course, is completely unacceptable as I shouldn’t have been charged in the first place. They're now ignoring all my messages asking them to explain their actions.

This is a very el located hotel. It has an elevator which is very convinient.

Abbiamo alloggiato un weekend di una notte tra sabato e domenica...oltre al posto molto carino e pulito abbiamo trovato due ragazze alla reception molto carine e molto ospitali entrambe, e in alcune difficoltà abbiamo avuto il loro aiuto. Ci hanno fatto sentire come se fossimo a casa❤️ grazie mille , se dovessimo tornare in Corsica sicuramente torneremo❤️un abbraccio!

Nos hemos alojado en este hotel del 9 al 11 de septiembre. Es un hotel muy rústico decorado al estilo autóctono, la habitación muy cómoda y con el tamaño adecuado, la cama muy cómoda todo muy limpio, el personal amable y atento, tiene párking gratis a muy pocos metros del hotel, ideal para visitar Porto Vecchio, Bonifacio y las espectaculares playas de la zona . Muy recomendable

Hôtel situé en centre ville très BRUYANT, situé sur une pénétrante Rue Jean Jaurès à l'avant et en rue arrière Rue Jean Nicoli qui permet de sortir de la ville Accueil sympa et agréable Chambre assez petite, ainsi que le parking qui ne peut recevoir que très peu de voitures Climatisation très mal placé dans la chambre car elle est orientée sur la tête du lit Literie bonne qualité et bonne réception wifi dans la chambre

Qualité de l’accueil de l’hébergement et des conseils irréprochables. Une adresse à retenir pour un futur séjour en Corse. En quelques mots, un grand merci d’avoir contribué, avec cette étape à Porto Vecchio au succès de nos vacances

Abbiamo soggiornato tre giorni ad agosto, il personale è stato gentilissimo e super cordiale nell’assecondare tutte le nostre esigenze. Le camere non sono molto ampie ma tenute molto bene e ben arredate! C’è un parcheggino privato molto comodo. L’hotel è in pieno centro a porto vecchio, un ottimo compromesso tra spiagge e serate!
