ホテル サンタ マリア(Hotel Santa Maria)

也許是沒住過國外的酒店，有點少見多怪了。 客房沒有一次性用品，如牙刷、梳子、小牙膏、拖鞋，衹配有一小塊肥皂，和沐浴液。有地巾，浴巾，毛巾，還有電吹風。房型整體面積還可以，但是無效的空間不少。有搖椅和兩個沙發，沒有陽台，落地窗户面積很大但是窗外面是樓，沒有景色。房間內還配有保險箱和minibar。提醒小夥伴們，電源插座是歐標的，所以要提前準備好轉換頭，或者找酒店提供。建議自備，國內品牌，公牛的，方便好用。產品如下圖。如，度假或者待的時間比較長，建議在備一個插線板，方便自己使用。前台小哥人很好，可以用英語和你做簡單的交流，幫我解決了不少問題。大家一定要有思想準備，當地人都是説葡語，衹有一部分服務行業的人員會説英語。

Stayed one night (booked by travel agency) and my experience wasn't good. The hotel is well located within walking distance of restaurants, shops and attractions. It can also be quite noisy as loud music is played outside. Small room, with modern decor. Upon arrival, I noticed that the sink was draining super slowly (see photo) and the wifi wasn't working (error message "Couldn't get IP address" with both my mobile phone and my laptop). Even though it was obvious that it was a network issue, one of the hotel employees insisted in messing around with my phone for 10-15 min - to no avail, of course. After several hours, the wifi started working, but with multiple hiccups. The same employee came to check the sink and declared that "it was fine". In the shower the water temperature was constantly fluctuating from scorching hot to cold in a matter of seconds, without touching the mixer. I reported this problem and it was "fixed" the next morning, when there was no hot water at all. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Well lit desk area. Breakfast with decent selection. The staff was generally unhelpful and unpleasant.

location is perfect. we booked it for couple of days as a layover to the island of fogo. Some of their rooms are super small but i've seen smaller. Their breakfast is just ok. they can improve there. I WAS DISSPOINTED, HOWEVER, . I BOOKED AND PAID FOR A 1 NIGHT STAY UPON RETURNING FROM FOGO, AND WE ARRIVED TO CHECK IN, FRONT DESK HAD THE AUDACITY TO TELL US THAT THEY MOVED our stay TO THEIR SISTER HOTEL to MAKE WAY FOR A GROUP OF EUROPEANS (HAVE TO EMPHASIZE IT BECAUSE CAPEVERDEANS HAVE AN INFERIOR COMPLEX TOWARDS EUROPEANS). oF COURSE I WASN'T GOING TO LET THAT SLIDE. WE STAYED WHERE WE PAID FOR.

Friendly staff, great breakfast, very good food in their restaurant with at times really slow and bad service. Hot water in the bathroom can be dangerously hot. Great location. We have stayed here before, many times, and will stay here again.

The hotel was terrible, from the moment we arrived we were given the room we didn’t book jus 1 tiny double room instead of superior suite with queen bed and single bed. The pillows and towels old and pillows stitched with a black thread unprofessionally probably hand stitching. Breakfast was terrible the bread was dry & stale, serving plates were tiny side plates. Fruits were not fresh the papaya looked very mashed, they do not serve fresh breakfast, I regret booking this hotel & will never again The bed was not comfortable and was not the same size as the mattress, is this place a cheap hostel? Because clearly it doesn’t deserve even 3stars. The mini fridge was full when we arrived and nobody told us that if we use the drinks we need to pay for them.. at least give guest a brochure on their arrival so that they know they don’t touch drinks in the mini bar, instead we will have a choice of going for drinks outside.. I was charged for drinks we used after I thought they came with the package of the booking. I should have stayed at the other hotel instead of coming to this hotel, loud noise at night, and the corridors too stuffy & hot, 👎👎

Staff is wonderful, very courteous, helpful, and friendly. Breakfast buffet was great.

Nice Hotel with perfect location but some flaws. The dishes at breakfast was not clean and the bathroom is too small. The door from the shower cab does not close. And it is very loud. You can hear every dog barking outside and every car passing by.

Friendly staff and convenient restaurant. Very noisy in the room and adequately furnished/decorated but not impressive. Clean.

The value for money is unbeatable. The hotel location is perfect very central in a very cheerful street. All the staff is amazing, they helped me in everything I needed. If I was late to the breakfast and something was over I asked for it and they gave it to me very kindly . They even accompanied me at all times to a place near the hotel to cure a problem I had on the sole of my foot. 👏👏 The room cleaning service is excellent.👌 Special mention to Sandra y a Lura they where very attentive and kind. Thank you💖
