A very good Hotel ,I like the breakfast

Kitchenette well stocked with drink options. Spacious room with all you need except hairdryers. You can ask for one but limited supply. Irons in poor condition. Bit dated and in need of maintenance. Dinner should be ordered ahead of time, but is delivered to your room. The food was tasty.

The room was spacious and very well-equipped (it even had a little kitchenette), with pleasant traditional décor and furniture, and everything seemed very clean. The window looked out to a little courtyard garden. The air conditioning was very efficient. The bathroom overall was in a good condition, and there was good provision of towels etc. (But on the negative side, the plumbing needed some attention – the shower drain was a bit sluggish, the hot/cold markers had come off the basin and shower taps, and a couple of times we needed to take off the top of the cistern to fix the toilet flush!) Servicing of our room was quite late in the day, so a couple of times we returned from trips in the afternoon to find that our room hadn't yet been serviced. The public areas of the hotel are very pleasant, with elegant traditional décor and furnishing. Breakfast was a good offering of hot and cold buffet items (with eggs cooked to order), and we had one evening meal in the hotel too (a buffet with our tour group) which was very satisfactory. We were also able to get drinks on the terrace by the pool in the afternoons. The garden areas look well maintained and attractive. All the staff were pleasant and friendly.

This is a shabby 1-star hotel, the rooms are extremely old and have curtains and carpet floors as in the 60's, they smell bad and it's not at all what I saw on the pictures, it's much older. While the reception and the lounge in the main building are in a beautiful historical mansion with a lovely decor, the rooms are in truly unpleasant adjacent areas that you won't enjoy - believe me. The staff is friendly, wifi works and the neighbourhood is probably a bit safer than average, but the rooms are in a terrible state. Don't come.

Make sure there is enough backup stock of consumables. Courtyard Pretoria is my ideal spot for relaxation after a busy day! With its peaceful ambiance, excellent facilities, and welcoming service, it's no surprise that it would be my favorite place to unwind. I enjoyed the tranquil garden spaces, comfortable rooms, and serene environment. It's an excellent choice for recharging.

The rooms need to be renovated. My bathroom door couldn't close properly and the handle was about to break. The basin was chipped and the bathtub looked too old, which made them look dirty although they were clean. When you shower, there's water all over the floor.

I had an extremely pleasant experience, the staff was next level with their service and kindness, the room was lovely and breakfast offered a wide variety of options. I didn't have lunch or dinner, but they were willing to provide me with a meal even though I arrived late in the evening. The menu and wine selection is also impressive.
