Fantastic guesthouse with stunning and tasteful interiors, beautiful gardens and breathtaking mountain views. Cottages have own lapa for a braai under the stars. Tasty and big farm breakfast. Swimming pool to cool off after a day visiting the numerous attractions in the vicinity.

A true stunning B&B in Prince Albert, I wouldn't stay anywhere else if i was visiting the area. Staff were amazing, big farm fresh breakfast. The little details all over the farm makes it extraordinary accommodation. We stayed in the Prince Albert Suite, fresh lavender on your pillows and towels, bed was comfy, room spacious, large bathroom, nestled in spectacular colourful fruit orchids and blooming gardens. Lots of bird life, making your stay very tranquil. Perfect for a 3 night stay. 5 stars - high recommended

Booked the Orchard Room and it was a spacious well thought out guest room. The bed was comfortable, air conditioning worked well along with wi fi. Elouise greeted us and was extremely welcoming and took the time to explain the property and room. A fantastic hostess!! Everything was spotlessly clean, the bathroom huge and complimentary coffee, tea, water and rusks in the room. The property is well maintained and the gardens fun to explore. There is an honesty bar for guests and breakfast the following day was delicious and perfect. Very much enjoyed the tour Elouise provided of the grounds. Very charming. This is where we will stay should we return to Prince Albert in the future.

Wonderful room with own external garden area with loungers, great staff and the gardens are a real delight. It was a delight to be served breakfast whilst watching the large number of birds attracted to the feedrs. English widely spoken as well as Africans.

What a lovely experience. From the friendly and professional reception and throughout our stay. Breakfast was a grand affair each morning and were treated like royalty. Beautiful cutlery, fresh scones bread and breakfast. The surroundings and property are beautifully maintained and it’s hard to believe you are in the Karoo. Would love to come here again.

Quite difficult to imagine green orchards and beautiful endless gardens in the idyllic but dry town of Prince Albert. Town itself its a gem but Mirtehof is next level. Staff were amazing and Eloise took us on a personal tour from entrance through the gardens to our plentiful cottage. We had Clyde situated right at the bottom of the property with our own private 'stoep' with the donkeys and geese for company. Luxurious bathroom. Amazing finishes. Simply amazing experience. Oh and what a breakfast. Thank you.

This was a return visit as we simply fell in love with Mirtehof last year! The accommodation is stunning, the well appointed rooms are set in a tranquil paradise and the breakfast is exactly what we wanted each morning.. We will definitely return and cannot speak highly enough of our guests experience.

Beautiful place in sirene environment! Love this little heaven. Will definitely come back❤️ Value for money. Breakfast on the huge stoep was the favourite experience. Small pool to cool off in this terrible heat.

Mirtehof is a delightful place to stay. The rooms (we stayed in the Prince Albert Suite) are spacious well equipped and extremely comfortable. The bathroom was also very spacious and very well equipped with a huge shower and a fabulous bath tub! The breakfast is wonderful particularly the home made scones. The gardens are amazing. There’s something different to look at with every blink of the eye. We stayed there for two nights and intend staying for three next year.
